  1. He may not even be rookied yet: From the Herald Sun: Mark Evans: "Travis will continue to train with the group until March 2011, which will give him the opportunity to be considered for the final spot on Hawthorn’s rookie list and the club will continue to support Travis financially at this time,”
  2. In other news, CJ apparently delisted as well. Source
  3. Jesus, this thread is still going? For those of you who think this is a viable option, I have two words for you: Stefan Martin.
  4. Personally, I'd look to be covering my bases by having a utility as a sub in case of injury during the game. In that vein then: FB: Bennell Garland Rivers HB: Grimes Frawley Martin CE: Trengove Moloney Davey HF: Sylvia Watts Dunn FF: Jurrah Green © Petterd FO: Jamar Scully McKenzie IN: Jones Morton Gysberts SB: Bruce EM: Bartram Wonaeamirri Bail
  5. Because he's the only player no longer contracted. Bell and Miller are still in contract until the 31st of October.
  6. I'm fairly sure, from a legal standpoint, he won't play, as he's officially now a Hawthorn player.
  7. No way, it's the star sign predictions in the paper. They haven't said "Change is in your future" for Hale's star sign yet. When that happens, wait and see what we offer the 'Roos.
  8. The deranged ramblings of a delusional Saints supporter, surely.
  9. They're also getting Collingwood's compo pick for Fraser, which the Pies are using for Krakouer (as far as I'm aware) So it's up to the AFL which pick they'll get on top of pick 5. Source: AFL website (It is Hutchy though, so this may turn out to be completely wrong.)
  10. This isn't necessarily tanking. Do Footscray tank every game when they move Harris up forward? Experimentation is almost expected, especially in games that won't affect the premiership race at all.
  11. From a Melbourne perspective, I would fall over myself running to get to that one. From a Brisbane perspective, what sweetener are you adding? Or, alternately, what Steamin' Demon said.
  12. You wouldn't call what happened at Essendon dramatic?
  13. Yep, both are attending draft camp only for the interview process, due to SANFL finals. Source
  14. Ignore. Probably Josh Kennedy.
  15. The Meese was traded after three years, originally taken in the top 10. (And we all know how that worked out....) Edit: Similar situation with Cameron Wood.
  16. Exactly - Ketchup on the OP?
  17. Great player. Loves to get the ball, does the hard yards so the others can shine! Cult hero in the making. Or possibly just hero.
  18. That neither Jones nor Brock went on their team's end of season trip due to injuries......
  19. I don't see why. Bruce leaving will only open up a spot on our rookie list. No-one is able to go onto our veteran's list until the Russian in 2013 (I believe). IMO I can't see the club valuing a 3rd to 4th round rookie pick over Bruce next year. Got me baffled why they're not offering him 2 years. ......Unless the veteran's list takes in time spent on the rookie list. Then my point is moot, as Jamar can go onto the veteran's list for 2012.
  20. Needs a NSFW disclaimer. Spent a good 15 minutes just trying to compose myself after tearing up so much. West Coast R14 last year. (Needed to do something to occupy myself!)
  21. You and me both..... I did the same thing, but also put a fiver on Junior at 1000-1, the week before he did his hammie. Glad to know I'm not the team's only bad luck charm.....
  22. It's just a forum, buddy! Also, my apologies.
  23. No, on which only the All-Australian committee have a say. The same as deciding which three will be up for nomination.
  24. Nope, that's just for mark of the week. That's why both Jurrah's and Goddard's are in the running for mark of the year, Walls voted for Jurrah, the public for Goddard. Therefore, they're both in contention. It's really less democratic than it's being touted.
