  1. Talk about someone blowing his OWN trumpet
  2. Yep - was hoping that this was correct- stuffed up my selections due to this..PROTEST. How in hell do we get the stats for a match(this match). It says auto refresh-where do we refresh for God's sake- this is very frustrating
  3. I believe the best position for Davey is a half forward flank. That is if we can find a consistant player to kick in when we score a point rather than Grimes. Davey has done this roll well- but he can't do everything. Grimes is a shocker in this role as I have pointed out for the last year. Davey then could be a very good player or even a great player able to play around the centre when needed to take the kick from the backman, then create a forward thrust or go for goal himself.
  4. I was not going to make comment here but just have to- Whilst we are playing we always have a chance of winning. I feel we can Win all five. WC & the Kangas the hardest games along with Adelaide.
  5. A lot less blemishes than Mr RR's love child Mr Grimes .
  6. Please HT - watch what you are saying- RR will get you and warn you forblaming the coaches. However you are accurate imo.
  7. Agreed- however plenty of top forwards were shorter than him.Garland is the same size but nowhere near the body shape of Darling. Darling also has a reputation of being not only extremely determined- but goes after the hard ball with complete desperation. Whilst Jurrah shows some similar traits no one else has this great desire.
  8. Don't enjoy it to much- you play me this week and I need a strong showing.I'm loving the game- however it has been hard to get into it. Next year we newcomers will have a better footing. It has been hard work trying to get a grip on it. We should have gained a better insight from you old timers whom have the experience of playing before. Dappa stood back and didn't give an inch. I'll belt him when his turn comes around.
  9. So will most of us- but by gee they are very hard to Win.
  10. Agree. And why should we also accept Mediocre.
  11. West in?? Maric,Jones out Wonaeamirri Gysberts -In
  12. Fair enough comment- don't mind being pulled up for that- I withdraw my comment re thuggery. We require fair players whom are hard, tough, uncompromising, aggressive footballers. Again, as pointed out Tapscott moulds. I would still not mind if we could grab a taller Tapscott- that is why I wanted Darling as our Number 1 recruit last draft.
  13. I agree somewhat but a bit more mongrel to go with it. We also need a big bloke whom has got a touch of thuggery in him.We seem far to timid.Need to get into oppositions heads that we are just not meek and mild.
  14. Yep- congrats- if Bruce did not get those easy marks at the end you would have lost.
  15. I know who I'd prefer between a fit Fvola and Newton.
  16. I agree-I also await - the master RR for his comments.
  17. I womder what Rhino Richards now says about my comments on Jack Grimes.
  18. This seems another Campbell case- 7/8 weeks for the last 3 weeks. I stated last year on Demonland how pathetic we are regarding getting injuries and not being able to minimum their time in recovery. Have a look at the last 3 years and how many injuries we have had. Somone has to do something about this- just ain't acceptable. It seems Scully has been playing with this injury all the time he has been at the club.
  19. Scarlett- congrats-on the birth of your little girl. Well done.
  20. Barty is a dead set goer- Bailey must luv him. Becoming Mr Reliable.
  21. I acyually think it is a great win/win for both Cam & the MFC. Maybe JS & the Board may come up with a similar strategy and offer Tom Scully a proposal to buy accommodation in Melbourne along with his sister. Along with a secure 3/4 year contract. That would indeed be lateral thinking in a very good strategy IMO.
  22. Correct weight- a very ill man whom needs great assistance around him.
  23. This thread is a complete load of trash. We will know one way or the other whenever he signs and know then with whom. Guys, please let's leave this alone. It is surly getting us all down.
  24. Thanks for the report KC- looked up Gawn- just turned 19 last December 30th.WOW- great upside when one thinks Sandilands did not start excelling until he was 25/26.
