  1. as much as it pains me to write this, he directly costs us goals every week from turnovers. I counted 6 or 7 this week. His low trajectory kicks are not suited to the backline and it's about time the coaching department realize he is best suited to the midfield. His kicks would be perfect lace out to our forwards but instead he brought the hawks back into the game directly. Unless he is moved, he will not progress as a player.
  2. Great job CB...great initiative. I've ordered!
  3. I'll kick it off.. 1. How much I love screaming "JURRRAHHHHHH" 2. How I still hate those green $%#@!@#$ (Umpires)...especially the bald headed one 3. How much I still hate James Hird...(and want Matthew Whelan to clean him up again)
  4. I am currently overseas for the next 2 months and want to watch this documentary. I have managed to watch the trailer and the footage from the footy show, but I want to watch the whole thing. Jim is an inspiration to all of us, and I hope that I can be a hundredth of the man he is, because then I will be a good person. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
  5. found a link for the last quarter http://www.justin.tv/aussierulesfootball password: woosha
  6. Hi all, I am desperate to watch todays game live from Brooklyn. I have checked omnisport.tv and they are playing St Kilda v Port instead. Does anyone have any ideas?
  7. I have asked Whitey directly, will post any responses
  8. McLean to Carlton for pick 11 confirmed: http://twitter.com/Whitey927
  9. I thought Stef was very good in the ruck last night, however I thought his kicking let him down at times, especially under pressure.
  10. Earlier in the year we were lauding at the move of Aaron Davey to the backline to give us run and dash. However, I think we have become Davey-Conscious Everytime we run out of the backline this is how it generally goes 1. Davey kicks out to a man short 2. Runs for the handball 3. Another kick or handball short 4. Runs for the handball around the back...but this time he demands the football and puts himself into a dangerous situation (something that TJ and Adem Yze used to do quite a bit) We constantly look for Davey even when he is not in the best position. On the few occassions when we didn't look for him (i.e. when Chip kicked out), we actually moved the ball a whole lot quicker and smoother. Davey has to go forward to solve 2 problems. 1. Our lack of a crumbing forward 2. The danger he puts himself into in the backline This is something that has frustrated me for weeks, and I hope the match committee sees it too.
  11. Watts going on? Wattssss upppp?? Jack of all trades Watts kicks 6 on QB, only to follow up with an A+ on his exam the next day Watts the matter you? Mick Malthouse looking dee-pressed after a Jack Watts inspired Melbourne thrashes Collingwood and any chances of a top 4 finish

  13. Patty Hayes is a old Melbourne High boy like Cam Bruce. Plays more as a running backman like a Tadgh Kennelly but can also play tall..
  14. 6. Col Sylvia, everyone gives this guy a hard go, but I think he has shown something in the last 6-8 games 5. S.Buckley: I enjoy going to watch this kid play every week, will get better and better 4. M.Warnock: Superb improvement over the year 3. C.Garland: AA Backman '09 2. B.Green: Had a good year in a crap team 1. P.Wheatley: Same as B.Green
  15. Our preseason starts on October 13. DB reiterated this point numerous times in the rooms after the game. He is already looking forward to next year and so am I. What are our realistic aims for next year? I hope improvement, I don't expect top 8, but would love to see the young guys firing (the likes of Morton, Buckley etc.).
