Thanks Doc

I agree he could develop into a winger like Blease. We have Bail, Tapscott, and possibly Nicholson, Johnson and Evans whom may develop into ball carriers along with the possibility of Wonaeamirri going back. That's six in itself.

My friend we are being negative.4 ZIP would be great buy realiticly 3/1 will be more accurate.
-
No way if we are 0/4 or 0/5 .

Firstly thanks for seconding my thoughts on Wona's game. Also Aussie came to us as a back pocket. He played with Norwood seconds in the back pocket. This was the role he got drafted.
-
WELL I DO- HE WALLOPED THEM.
-
Yep- i'm the culprit that reported the news that Wona played a blinder.

Kyle Matthews on the comeback trail
jayceebee31 replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Fantastic to see he was even a starter. No doubt he is so courageous he'll make it back. And good on him. -
Win the opener then the 2nd ,I believe we are certainties for the finals.
-
Agree and we also have Wonaeamirri whom played a blinder at Casey over the weekend.
-
Needs to find desire, vision and some football smarts before he will be given a go.I don't think he is up to it.I feel there is alot ahead of him know as he hasn't taken his opportunities.
-
Sat with him at the AGM last year- a delightful man. Truly second the words of R.R.)Terrible terrible news.
-
I'd say reasonable offer by HT. Depends on whether you feel you need a midfielder or a midfielder/ forward.
-
I'll alow you to pay mine also.
-
RR- I agree with your ppoints in principal however the last 13 yeard of his life has been football.I also agree that he has to take accountability and responsibility in which I believe he is showing that in regards to Hutch's interview where h blamed himself.I didn't hear him blame any other source. However,he still has got a long way to go for complete responsibity. In the meantime(similar to Cousins ,he should and will be dependant on the AFL resources to assist him to regain health. All players and ex players can obtain this type of help.I believe even Nixon could gain assistance if he required it.
-
I'm no expert either.I concur with most you say however, it is my opinion that he may not be in the state of mind to be responsable for his own actions.Iwas also told today that Hutchy may go with him to L/A. to try to assist him.

I do not put this major issue in areas or factors. Like life itself everything is intergrated and interrelated. There is no doubt as many has said including Andrew Demetrio that football is a major factor to Fev's possible recovery(refer to http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/109155/default.aspx.) He has so much time on his hands and misses the structure needed to assist him. However no doubt he needs people such as the overall football community , his family and friends as support. Carlton dumped him, so has Brisbane for causes known. I think, and many including you don't think that I see him as being a possible asset for us. If indeed he did get back to playing football (Casey in the first instance and then possibly the MFC ) and succeeds ,we will get great kudos. I believe Jim Stynes, Don McLardy and the infrastructure at Reach could be a savings grace for him as a human being. He loves older people and young ones. This could even end up his vocation similar to The Ox after what he went through. I also believe the OX will make contact with him on his return from the States to offer assistance. And many other AFL personnel will do the same.So I do not rate factors in what I deem as critical to him at this time.Furthermore,I think it is an absolute disgrace, especially after 66 days in a clinic, to return to Melbourne without a minder is damning on his management and to a small degree the AFL knowing that they knew the seriousness of this man's state of mind. Lastly, we are dealing with a person whom has slashed his wrist. Whether it was geniune or a cry for help or attention, we will never know. However, all of us in the football community should not turn our back and say-Fevola you are a naughty boy, you have stuffed up your life - stiff.

That will be great if we achieve this- What is your prediction at end of year(post 3oth June 2011)?
-
HT-Please note I did take into consideration your table and before you had posted it,I went back myself and looked at the last two years trying to take in like for like at particular times re dates. That is what drew me to my conclusion that we are slipping backwards. And I also note that this time last year I was advocating that we were not likely to reach even our budgeted figure because we did so poorly in the NAB cup ,in particular in Fremantle we certainly would not get to the record number we did in 2010. Gee I will be very satisfied if we firstly beat last years figure,(my memory says we have budgeted for 35500) get to 37, 000 will be great, 40,000 over the moon.I an just saying we have not kept up your earlier post amounts of greater than 3000 above 2010 figures. But I accept that at the 31st March we should have a far better fix on where we are at.But I will not be talking to you at that particular time due to the belting you are expected to give me in ULtimate footy.

Just hope information gained is accurate.

Sorry for misleading you, my mistake. I had Campbell also on my mind whwn I mentioned Tom. I hope Kel Lawrence does play tonight and stars.

Who are you kidding re the media-the media pounds him instead of leaving him alone and letting him try to get his life back in some order. Now the football community should get behind him, take him away and sincerely try to help him. He needs lots of love and care at the moment and football is the no.1 factor to assist in his recovery outside his beloved family and friends.
