    Saw him a few times at Casey. His contested marking and field kicking really stood out. However, each time I saw him, he was absolutely cooked by half-time. A big pre-season will definitely help and hopefully he can come in and play 10-15 games next year. As was the case with Watts, a lot of time and patience is required.

    I remember when he had a 6 goal haul in one of his first VFL games. And then about a year later during a game against West Coast kicked two monsters from outside 50 on the run. Wonder where it all went wrong for him.

    Disagree. Reasons have been highlighted above. Also disagree with your opinion on their list. They have some real young quality at both ends and if they add another jet midfielder to assist Boak, plus another 2-3 decent mids then they'll play finals in 2 years.

    Joel Corey mk II. Will be in our top 2-3 midfielders by the end of next year. Huge upside as long as his body holds up.

    5 years ago, yes he was very quick. Bulked up too much last year and had a number of injuries that have held him back badly.

    I've watched Hansen closely this year and quiet frankly, I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. He's soft, has below average footy IQ, terrible decision maker and he's hopeless by foot. He's a hell of a lot more frustrating to watch than Dunn too. We can do better than going after Norf's damaged goods.

    Agreed. The way Duck sunk the boot in - Jared just bowed his head and took it. I'm not big on the idea but maybe having co-captains next year will be the best solution.

    Ugh. Rivers? Seriously? He went missing badly in all our losses this year. When we were crying out for leaders, he disappeared. He offers nothing offensively and rarely has an impact. Won't be in the leadership group next year. Just give it to Jack now.

    I read this forum for about a year before I registered an account. I found Mo's posts very enjoyable to read and he was one of the few on here that had a genuinely good footy brain. It's a shame he doesn't post here anymore. Edit: Good bump, it was certainly an interesting read.

    He said it himself - if you're out of the game for a year, you're useless as a coach. Why would Neeld only sign for one year here when he'll probably get a 3 year gig in Adelaide?

    I wonder if Sydney would give up Kennedy for Sylvia and someone else. Kennedy is exactly the sort of player we need right now.

    Hard to believe our losses have been worse than 2008. I thought those days were behind us.
