You haven't seen enough leadership qualities in Trengove? All us supporters can really go by are his media interviews and his on-field performances. Does Jack lead by example? Is he courageous? Does he speak well in front of the media? He more than excels at all of the above.

I liked Swallow before last night. I think I love him now. What a good captain, standing up for his troops like that. I thought it was great. Perhaps Juddas' day has already come. Money can't buy you premierships.

We used leading teams in '08 did we not? And good users of the footy were Bailey's and BP's priority. If you look through our first-round picks during their time, all of them can use it well by foot. Lacking however, is the footy IQ and good decision making that prevents them from becoming good players.

I think Bennell's case just comes down to our long history of not being able to develop highly skilled 17-18-19 y.o's into proper footballers. Being a club with poor facilities and lack of FD funding, we shouldn't be surprised.

I have been disappointed with Tapscott too. But then I remember this is just his second year of footy, coming off a low fitness base and has barely played 25 games.

Never seen such a hot and cold player at Melbourne. Still better than PJ though.
