You have to blame the coach. Look at Hinkley after only 3 months his team were hard at it and put tonnes of defensive pressure on. Why cant we get to these basics? This is surely base 1. Commitment, desire,full on in ya face defensive pressure. We have a spineless coach and a team of pansies. There is something seriously wrong at our club, Moloney and Rivers could see we are a lost cause, thats why they left. Hard to play against???? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ! Feel so sorry for Jack Viney,Jack Grimes, Nath Jones,Jimmy Toumpas, Matt Jones and Mitch Clark, to have to play with below par losers like, Jamar,Dunn,Sellar,Garland,Frawley, Sylvia,Byrnes,Rodan,Nicholson,Tappscot etc etc etc..

Wimps Nicholson may have good endurance, but he cantplay footy Sellar is tall, but soft as butter.

What was McKenzie doing there if he wasn't tagging Boak? Boak and Hartlett had no one within 5 meters of them. Our back line was deplorable. It did look like we were zoning. We are not good enough to zone, we are too slow. Complete lack of pressure on the ball carrier and one on one pressure. Port couldn't believe their luck, it was a picnic for them. Blease our fastest player as the sub?? WTF JEtta and Terlich our best pre season performers not chosen?? WTF We are a rabble already and it's only round one.

We still have no leaders , Rodan and Byrnes second stringers who are way past it. Gillies not AFL grade I lost my passion for the game today. We all have to get a life. This is a club of duds.

Nicholson and Tappy are lucky in my book as Terlich and Jetta, have been far more impressive this preseason. Having said that i hope they have good games tomorrow.

With Dawes out i expect pederson and Sellar to play. Trengove wont play, but not sure about Terlich, maybe they have chosen Jetta or Nicholson instead.

Yes , just reported on SEN, arrested again for assault. I Guarantee you this bloke will not play AFL again , for any club. But thats the least of his worries.

No doubt the boys will be pumped. I think if Mckenzie does a good job on Boak, we will go a long way to beating them. Four key players for us to kick a winning score. Sylvia, has to make a statement and have a good game in the middle Blease has to provide us with that outside run we so desperatly lack. Watts rebounding off half back And Clark imposing himself, creating terror in the forward half. And lets hope Viney and Toumpas have debuts to remember. Carna Demons!

When he left Roos said that coaches can now do whatever they want, but the silly man doesn't realise, thats whats been happening since the game started, and there is no law against resting players, or moving players to different positions. How that guy ever won a premiership is beyond me, dumb as they come.

What will be will be. I have heard from the coach that Sylvia is a commited Demon. i think that if he has a good year and the team improves he will stay. If he has another ordinary year , and teams performs poorly, theres a chance he will go.
