You have to question the recruiting department. How is Gillies a better prospect than Pettard? Sellar ordinary VFL player Rodan finished Byrnes camt get a senior game elsewhere Its all backfiring and its only round one. Im prepared to givethem two more weeks and thats it,

We also need to get blokes to the club to speak to the boys and teach them, what you have to do to play like a man. Guys like Tommy Hafey, Kevin Murray, Mick Martyn. Even blokes like Billy Slater on how to be switched on come game day.

They dont want it bad enough, they are just happy to be on an AFL list

On paper before the game, i thought we would ave won the key position one on ones. Try to imagine my dissapointment when i saw we were zoning, and it wasnt working.

Frawley was a great one on one player when he was all Australian, now he is a zoning player...he may not be so good at this. Surely you must coach a team based on strengths? Otherwise you are developing new weaknesses.

You are 100% correct, and therein have found the main reason we were beaten so badly yesterday.Again it boils down to the coaching So.....do we try and learn this zoning game plan at the risk of getting belted every week, or do we change to man on man?

Why was no one within 5 metres of Boak all day? What was Mckenzie doing by himself on the wing if he is the tagger? Why play Tapscott and Nicholson ahead of Jetta and Terlich? Why were no positional changes made when we were being thrshed? Why was no one manning up in the backline?

Play jetta, terlich,kent and Davey, we need extra run. We were supposed to be the hardest team to play against....start showing it. Win the tackles, play man on man, play hard, play tough, constant pressure on the opposition. It all starts with defence. Look each other in the eye and demand 100%. Demand blood! The next two games are must wins, line in the stand stuff!

They are mentally weak, and unprepared.....only the coach is to blame. With the lack of success we have had we should be running through brick walls. We should be putting that much pressure on the opposition that they cant breath. Its time to play like men.

The players were so pathetic today, they obviously arent listening to or arent respecting Neeld. He won 4 games last year , and this year we look even worse. If we continue like this he will be gone mid year.

THE PERSPECTIVE IS THAT THIS CLUB IS ON ITS FINAL DEATH THROES We are already on our way to having 6000 members less than lastyear......we simply cant afford another year of spineless football.

Have to blame the coach and the selection commitee for picking someone who has showed nothing, ahead of guys like Terlich,Jetta and Kent. Again it boils down to the man in charge. If i was on the board i would bring him in ( Neeld) and give him a stern warning, there had better be some serious improvement, by mid season or else! They would have to cite two things , zero defensive pressure, and picking out of form players ahead of form players.
