  1. Thanks for the link WCW that was great. I like my metal but the farthest I go is Cradle of Filth and even then really only Cruelty & the Beast and Midian (love those albums). I prefer my metal with a bit more of a "groove" (if you can call it that) than thrash but if it's good I'll listen to it. Great music to listen to at the gym though 🤣
  2. Too weird to live, too rare to die 😉
  3. I assumed it was a biblical place or mythological name, like Golgotha
  4. No unfortunately, it's solely an homage to gonzo journalist Hunter S Thompson - Dr Gonzo is the alter ego of his sidekick/attorney Oscar Zeta Acosta in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.
  5. I agree, if the AFL/govt are looking at connecting the MCG with Richmond station in some way we should be looking at incorporating our facilities into that somehow. Build above Brunton Ave and the rail lines.

Loving this Jets team at the moment. Gardner, Williams x2, AVT, Hall, Davis, Berrios, G Wilson - just a really fun team to watch at the moment. I love the brutality on defence, it's always a hallmark of a good Jets team (eg NY Sack Exchange). Still not sold on Zach Wilson, a few times on Sunday he just held on to the ball way too long and that almost turnover in the end zone just before half time was mind boggling. He improved after half time but still only 10/18 and 110 yards with one chunk play to Corey Davis for the game. If he can make it we might have a chance to do something in the coming years.

  8. Additionally the main concern with data breaches like Optus and Medibank is around personal sensitive information such as driver's licence details, passport details, banking details, medical details. Not names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses.
  9. Goes straight to spam folder. You don't think these spammers and scammers already have access to databases of email lists (including yours) by other means? It seems a pretty long bow to draw, for those not old enough to remember we used to have giant books thrown on our doorstep with all this personal information included.
  10. They give all that information to sponsors anyway, why would you be furious if it was given to a member to enable a democratic process to proceed? What are you worried is going to be done with an email address?
  11. Yet I get spam calls every other day from people telling me theyre from the ATO, Commonwealth Bank, Amazon, Telstra etc He's already entitled to postal addresses, I don't see what the big deal is with releasing email lists.
  12. All of the above.
  13. In the US the rings are bought by the billionaire owners - who paid for these?
  14. Is it a reference to The Rock?

Another win for the Jets albeit against a 3rd string QB. Despite that I'm loving the look of some of our you get guys, Hall, Gardner, G Wilson, AVT have looked very good so far. I'm expecting a tougher game this week against Aaron Rodgers but we then have Denver who look like an absolute dumpster fire. That Russell Wilson contract situation 😮
  18. Why? The purpose of the sub was so club's weren't disadvantaged if a player was concussed. Then they just changed it to if a player was injured. Now it will just be an additional interchange so we're back to where we started but with a 5 man interchange. Next they'll need a sub for concussed/injured players so will be a 5 man interchange + 1 sub. And on and on it goes. It's ridiculous, they should be limiting the interchange not expanding it.
  19. What's the point of this? May as well have just hung on to Weid, Schache is basically the same player but with less physicality. I don't get it. I don't see him getting much time in the seniors at all.
  20. I'll never boo a premiership player
  21. That's true although there is clearly one gaping hole that usually takes plenty of dollars to fill.
  22. Not really when you're already paying another elite ruck north of that amount. $1.5m+ out of a $13m salary cap (11.5%) to two ruckman who can't really play elsewhere is lopsided list management.
