What are they saying at Moore Park
Which is why the AFL props them up. They can't afford to miss finals two years running and the handouts they get through their academies for players like Blakey whose dad is a 350 gamer for North/Lions is a downright rort. Their arrogance [censored] me because unlike a club like the Hawks who actually won through being a good club, Sydney win through being the AFLs darling - you'd think they'd remember what it was like when they were on their knees in the early 90s but then again most of their supporters didn't jump on til 96.

Ticketing 2023
Only for the GF. Other finals all members have access to the same allocation (correct me if I'm wrong @FearTheBeard but that's my understanding anyway).

If it's heavily weighted teams would still tank to have a better chance at the top pick. Even with the lottery tanking still exists in the NBA. You can't stop it and I don't think it's worth it.

The Run Home
Although it's also 3 of the last 8 seasons so maybe things have tightened up compared to the years prior to 2015?

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
I love Riv ❤️

The Run Home
Not Cats in 09, they beat Dogs in QF from memory. Dogs in 2016 came from 7th.

Worked for us. That's the way the comp is designed, would never want to see a draft lottery, NBA is totally different to AFL with only 5 starting players.

As long as the AFL don't try and pilfer him when Tassie comes in ala Scully

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Remember when Malthouse called one of our players (Hunt? Blease?) a cheat for claiming a ball was touched against the Blues? C'mon Mick, speak up 🙄 I made peace with the call, even in the moment once the umpire said "touched" I knew it wouldn't be overturned - but I was listening to the Demonland podcast on the way home from work tonight and @binman got me all riled up again!! Thanks binners 🤣

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
There were a few that left me gobsmacked. Several boundary throw ins where Pittonet just blatantly hugged Max/Grundy and they couldn't compete for the ball. The "specky" attempt on Max that went nowhere near the footy. The JVR legs take out. Sparrow having someone drop right into his back. I'm sure there where others but these were all blatant and right in front of the umpire. I really hate sooking about it because when it happens the other way (Richmond supporters a couple of weeks ago) we just laugh at how one-eyed/sooky they're being but when they miss blatant frees that aren't open for interpretation when they're staring right at them what hope have we got.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
The umpiring seemed extremely ****house tonight. I hate blaming them for a loss and Carlton were good but my god the amount of scragging, pushing and blocking they got away with! Carlton player jumps on Maxys head doesn't touch the ball. Play on. Carlton player tries to evade a tackle. Ball end up dropping out of his hands when trying to handball. Play on. Player sits square on Sparrows back. Play on. JVR has his legs taken out. Play on. And that was just the last quarter. Carlton players getting away with fistfuls of jumpers right in front of the umps. Most of these happened directly in front of the umpire so it's not an issue of "they didn't see it". There is something seriously wrong with the way our game is officiated, it is a joke. And how can the goal umpire call touched if he didn't see it? If it has to go to score review there should be evidence it is touched otherwise it should be a goal. Furious. 🤬🤬
