If you check out 3/4 time during the Hawks game at Princes Park above I kept in some footage of the crowd when Northey brought the players over near the supporters on the far wing. I've edited most of these videos to clip the length during the quarter and half time breaks but many of these video's have footage of the crowd interspersed when it's taken from a non-broadcast feed (eg the Hawks and Cats games above). Here's the next game after the debacle against the Cats and back on the winners list.

Has the G ever been in worse condition than this? This game was every bit as scarring to me as a kid as ANZAC Day 92 (up 47 points vs Essendon and losing), 88 and 2000 GFs, 186 etc Only kicking 2 goals for an entire game, my 7 year old brain couldn't comprehend it! Especially after beating the Hawks the week before and the run we'd been on the couple of months prior. PS @binman I found you in the crowd and used as the thumbnail 😂😂😂

If players have the option of playing for Melbourne who train out in the boondocks or Collingwood/Carlton/Richmond etc who are based in the heart of the inner city, which do you think they'd prefer? It's not really comparable to Geelong, Geelong has the surf coast down the road with the lifestyle that entails to appeal to certain demographics of players, the peninsula isn't exactly the same.

What if a player is injured during training and needs to leave in the cart? The cart would need to cross the track which could be more of an issue than players walking across.

And the Pies were missing their ruckman and both Daicos boys. Not sure who else was out but it was far from a full strength Collingwood side.

Like I said originally, I'm disappointed he left and how it ended but I hold no grudges against him. If others want to that's their prerogative.

Only seen the 1st quarter so far but looks like a decent hit out, good way to blow out the cobwebs in Feb. Mihocek, Steele, Jiath and Heath all slotted in well and the Pickett² combo is gonna be a fun watch.

He wants to be part of a successful club and can see a limited window as he come towards the last stretch of his career. He said it himself when he was drafted, he wants to be a HOF'er, 1 flag and a Norm Smith is good but he wants to be in that elite company. Right or wrong I think he got fed up seeing it wasn't gonna happen at the Demons.

I'm talking about the culture and leadership of the club more than the circumstances of his injury.

I'll always love Trac, disappointing in the manner he left but it's as much on the club as it is him. One of the key pillars of our only flag in recent history and our only ever Norm Smith medallist. I wish him well at the Suns and would love to see them get some success. They are a great team to watch and Hardwick has them playing a good brand of footy.

Bring it on, the more docos etc the better. I'd prefer the NFL films style docos over the "behind the scenes" ones but beggars can't be choosers. You reckon Goodwin stumbles out of the rooms with a black eye after the Saints game?

The round 1 1989 game is silent and has no on screen graphics, I think it was taken from a master tape with no commentary or anything. If anyone knows how to source an old radio call of the game let me know and I will sync it up.
