BBP ive been thinking about this since yesterday myself. there can really only be a few scenarios; 1. He is unfit and won't play Rd 1 = They would have played him on Sunday 2. He is unfit but they will play him anyway = He probably would have still played on Sunday 3. He has made the grade re fitness and will play Rd 1 = He probably wouldnt have played yesterday. 4. He has an injury which we havent been made aware of = He wouldnt have played Yesterday. I imagine 2 or 3 are the most likely, or at least make the most sense.

IMO the captaincy will look after itself and as much as I love Brock I would give it to Bruce first, even if the bloke cant kick. Regardless, please do not even contemplate Miller and Chook in the same thought process, its insulting.

Everyone keeps forgetting his skills have SFA to do with why he should be dropped. Its because he has no ticker. 12 tackles maybe, but ive never EVER seen him tackle a player in the vein of Wheels, Pickett, Carroll, McLean etc etc. I'll wager 90% of those tackles were from behind or a player trying to take off out of a pack. He will play Rd1 because we dont have enough starting players to knock him out, but the fact still remains he is not in our best 22 and I hope he doesnt get the games record.

Any further word here?

IMHO J.Brown would be a far more productive player at our club than C.Judd. We dont lack for midfielders, we lack strong dominating KPPs. Get Judd, Neitz almost gone....what value?

With that list, we have no excuses. Come the season proper, injuries will force us to field worse teams than this and expect a win. I know its down at KarBogan Park, but its time to start showing something.

Are you seriously implying that because Miller played 1 blinder (you're generous to give him two) that he is worth 22 rds of ho-hum football. If he looks as disinterested and lost out there again, surely he will be heading to platform 8 for a serious look at himself and his future. Brad green said that last year (commenting on his 05 year season during 06) the difference between his good games and his p@ss poor ones were too great and that he was aiming for a more consistantly good performance. He needs to sit down with Miller.

Its encouraging that we are having a dig. Only the clubs which believe they are a genuine shot spend the extra $$ on the "nice to have's". Bring on a full 22.

Am I the only bloke who wouldnt give a flying rats ass if he went down on a charge, took a suspension and wasnt in the running for consecutive games anyomore? His performance on Sunday was insipid, that he actually put the effort in to trip someone is more impressive than his efforts in the match.
