GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Spargo is actually one of a few players that doesn't play like a loser. BT just said it. They don't believe here.

Gifted them a goal.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
the first time we go long and direct we score a goal. We consistently handball 1-2 times too many.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Not really. We're winning most contests. the problem is we spud it up across half forward and gift them 2-3 easy marks and entry. Just wait until Cox turns it up.

Fire up Goodwin ffs!

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Garlett, Spargo, Bradshaw, Oliver, Jones, Viney are actually liabilities. We gift teams such easy entry.

Best MFC team in last 50 years
I can't tell if Oliver appearing in so many lists says more about him as a player or about the club that it has 4 year player in its best midfield of all time.

Goody Presser (6/6)
I think he was struggling early in the season. That we've played better football with a mounting injury list has probably improved his confidence. but he was undoubtedly struggling for answers early.

Oskar Baker
I'll hold my judgment until he reaches 100 games.

NT is South Australia backyard
We can't build a home ground advantage there with only two games a year though against the same teams. Which is the double edged sword. We go there for money but sacrifice MCG home games. In the process the teams we play in NT have the same exposure us as because it's always the same teams. We can only really afford to play the SA and WA teams there because they will bring crowds. You can bet WC support will outnumber Melbourne support 3-1 when we play them there is round 18. The club should at least ask the AFL to cycle opponents. One year we play Adelaide and WC, the next Port and Freo. Adelaide has played in Darwin 2 of the past 3 times we've played there.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
Mcdonald needs to be played in Hogan's role. Push up the ground and win ball along the wing. Play Weeds and Smith forward, alternate Oliver, Baker and Petracca through the forward line, have Hannan there as a permanent fixture. We badly need permanent small forwards though because Garlett is a skid row man's Betts and Spargo doesn't have it. Our forwards bring the ball down but we have minimal pressure there to win it when it hits the ground. We're tackling okay in the forward line but not actually winning the ball and keeping it there. Garlett is an opportunist and Spargo and hopeless. Saturday was an improvement though although Garlett got worse as the game progressed.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
It's ridiculous. One posted in here said he "gave up the first goal" like as if we judge careers on a single turnover. If anything what I like about the kid is he plays above his weight and experience. You'd think he had 100 games under his belt.

Round 11 Non MFC games
Let's not nitpick now. Goodwin has said similar plenty of times. Look back at his pressers towards the end of last year. After the West Coast game. I'm not a huge Goodwin fan but it's wasy to apply selective analysis.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
Goodwin said: (Jake) Lever, (Mitch) Hannan, (Michael) Hibberd, (Christian) Salem, (Alex) Neal-Bullen, (Steven) May, (Kade) Kolodjashnij, (Sam) Weideman and (Jay) Kennedy Harris All to come back. Hibberd, Salem, ANB, Kade and Weeds were all in the side when we were arguably playing our worst footy for the hear. Hannah helps, Lever is obviously a huge inclusion, JKH is okay I guess. We have huge depth issues.

Jake Lever - Suspected Ankle Injury
Thanks for the vague bs. Why not just post what happened?

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
If we had lost to West Coast and subsequently missed finals last year, Goodwin would be out of a job come 5pm. Might be time to start pressuring him.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
if that's the case hit the boundaries and for wingman to fill holes in defense. goodwin is a stubborn coach. we play like millionaires but look like unemployed Arts graduates: no promise and no real skill.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
And on cue after our captain misses a shot they go and kick a goal.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs GWS
Typical. Our captain has a chance to kick a goal after 5 minutes of solid play...and sprays it from 40 directly in front.
