i don't know why people take it so seriously. collectively we are seen as fickle supporters that jump ship and go to the snow instead of watch out team play. next time you hear someone crack a joke, ride it and fire back. "At least I can afford a snow trip. But I always make sure I'm back in time for the game. I even have a space up front for my Range Rover. How is Moe this time of year?"

they were pathetic. richmond supporters basically bullying melbourne supporters all game but worst at the end. was great when Kozzie kicked that goal. but seriously, AFL members is bordering on unsafe at Richmond games. the four guys in front of me were the biggest bunch of wingers. feel sorry for their misses' tonight.

Hawks supporters are not all that unlike Melbourne supporters (as much as some here may hate to admit it). Very similar demographics, up and about when they're doing well but very quiet otherwise. Tigers supporters have always been nauseating: if not for their hyperventilation when they were crap then for their "GOAT" rhetoric post-flags. Theyll never let anyone live down this four year stretch. And if they win it this year well then god help us all because they may well be the GOAT.

they barely got going in the fourth as well if not for Dusty. He pretty much led every single charge forward. you could see it coming though. by the end of the third we were running on fumes. and if I remember correctly many of their goals in the last came on the run out of our forward line. just found it funny that this week some of their supporters are calling us the weakest 5-0 side ever. They were gifted a dream run to start the year in 2017, faced teams on a short break and played Carlton, Brisbane and Collingwood, who finished 16th, 18th and 13th respectively that year. Then JUST overran a Melbourne team with no rucks and 1 player on the bench. Moral being that regardless of who you beat, if you string a good run of wins together at any point of the season you're setting yourself up for success. which is exactly as they did. I hope their complacency this week turns into a wakeup call. All good things must come to an end. A changing of the guard must start this weekend.

Richmond has beaten Carlton, Hawthorn and St Kilda. The average ladder position of teams they've beaten is 14th. Ours is 11th. Geelong and Saints both in the top 8 when we beat them. Tigers have played well once this season and everyone is talking about them ... they beat up an injury ravage St Kilda that was on a 5-day break. And yet we're the team that "hasn't beaten anyone yet". Let's not forget Richmond's 5-0 start to the year in 2017... Not to understate them as a team because I think they're great, but seriously, I am very much looking forward to beating them comfortably on Saturday.

I imagine AFL members will be a [censored] show tomorrow given Richmond has a large AFL members fanbase. Predicting I'll be bumped up to level 4. Good news is that even with both clubs' accumulative AFL members numbers, a seat is guaranteed for members with Melbourne or Richmond club support given they don't make up the total number of tickets available. You would think AFL members will fill up though with neutral supporters (and Melbourne/Rich supporters borrowing memberships from friends).

yes. if he were a poor man's simon godfrey then he'd be worse that godfrey. i meant in the sense that both were hard workers that didn't *appear* to have much impact, godfrey often undid his work with his disposal whereas spargo tends to have impact that is better reflective of his work rate. thus, he is a rich man's simon godfrey.

if we beat richmond we'll likely go into $6 and I suspect these will be the best odds you'll get provided there isn't a massive drop in form and we lose like 8 in a row.

we were never going to lose that. we've never really looked threatened this year in any of our games. in past years we lose to freo, gws, and geelong. we're going to get belted a few times and will lose a few games but this team is the real deal. people need to accept that some loses will come but it ain't the end of the world.

People need to watch Spargo closely. His challenge in the air against opponents almost always twice his size cannot be understated. He works so hard. And when he does get the ball he uses it well. He may not be the future but he plays a role that is above and beyond his capability and he does it well. Big test against for him against the Tigers. But he is a rich man's Simon Godfrey.
