GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
Good while it lasted. Dogs just way too quick and our gameplan too one dimensional. you just knew after they interview Beveridge at half time that they would change things up. Every single time they get it out of our forward line they have 2-3 players lining up. If you can get loose across half back vs Melbourne = you win. Typically means you're fast enough to get space which means you're fast enough to transition. May and Lever saved us today from a real belting.

What they're saying down at Barkly Street
for a team that's been similarly irrelevant for 50+ years as us, winning 1 flag out of absolutely nowhere sure does fill them with confidence. Should be a good game anyway.

Windy Hill 1990 A Famous Afternoon
Win over Carlton at Princes Park in 98 was massive. I remember a young Nathan Brown having a good debut (he had long blonde hair and a pony tail), and I think it was James Mcdonald kicking the sealer. Just an awesome match. Would love to see a full replay of that. EDIT: Found this. Forgot about Craig Smoker!

THE RUN HOME 2020
Dating back to 2014, the average number of wins for the 8th placed team after 18 rounds is 9.6 wins. So we assume with 1 bye, rounding up on average 10 wins, 7 losses at the end of round 18 nets you 8th place. So if we end the season 4-2 we should make it so long as we can maintain a health percentage. Will be tight for a LOT of teams. So 8-9 wins might actually do it this year.

Carlton is actually one team I do not want to meet in finals. They posses a clutch grit that could see them pinch a finals win against any opponent imo.

My 3 word player analysis v Collingwood
Tomlinson reminds me of a Neeld-era player. Can't see it.
