  1. Justin Plapp at breakfast this morning made mention that he hasn't seen a player (Weideman) come in and do what he's done in his first year of footy in his time in the game. Pretty big wrap! Also said he thinks Oscar will be a beast once he's put on some size.
  2. Given the Jetta suspension & pending H and Kent's fitness. IN: Kent, Lumumba, Neal-Bullen OUT: Bugg, Michie, Jetta (susp) FB: Wagner, Garland, Salem HB: Lumumba, T. McDonald, Vince C: Tyson, N. Jones, Kennedy HF: Harmes, Hogan, Kent FF: Watts, Pedersen, Garlett FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney INT: Hunt, Neal-Bullen, Petracca, Stretch Bugg the non playing emergency. Spencer & Dunn other emergencies named. Michie & Grimes to potentially come into the squad of 25 depending on the fitness of the two i mentioned at the start.
  3. He's a little gun. Would be shocked if he left, but the sooner we sign him to a 2-4 year deal the better.
  4. Nope, would rather we try Frost back then Dawes. Dawes will get one last crack at a rotating CHF/FF position within the next few weeks and from 2017 if he's still on the list he'll be our break glass in case of emergency (Hogan gets injured).
  5. Open the offer with 2017 1st Round Pick & Dawes to help Daniher out and go from there.
  6. Given he was brought straight back into the team rather then through Casey, he must be playing his role to Roos satisfaction. I agree, he does seem to just be coasting however. Would love to see him have a breakout game.
  7. Neal-Bullen on stand by for Vince Lumumba on stand by for Jetta Dunn on stand by for Pedersen If none of the above three outs gets suspended i'd still be looking for Lumumba & Neal-Bullen to come in anyway. Probably at the expense of Hunt & Michie. Would also like to see a fit Kent in, but hard to drop Stretch after that performance. Maybe for Harmes?
  8. As mentioned in another thread, Hurley would be ideal to play along side TMc as our other tall defender, but i think one of Nathan or Mitch Brown are far more realistic.
  9. Queensland Football in a lot of trouble!
  10. He really is shocking. Makes hutchy's short lived stint back in 2001 look like the next Clinton Grybas.
  11. Reckon the AFL would have been better off following the NRL model and base a team in Northern Queensland rather then the Gold Coast. Could of spread them across the North also to try and get as much exposure as posdible. Use Cairns as the base, but just play 5 games there, 5 games in Townsville and maybe 1 in Mackay? They're in big trouble the Suns.
  12. 1min & 5 seconds into the Tigers v Swans match and the umpires had paid 3 free kicks. Way to go un-noticed!
  13. Umm, because they've had 27 scoring shots to 16.
  14. Even taking into account Adelaide's accurate kicking, Geelong should still be at least 20+ points up.
  15. I'm aware that since i posted this Geelong have dominated.
  16. Frantic start to the 2nd half. Reckon cats are in big trouble.
  17. Your not wrong. Was a carbon copy.
  18. Thought it was there. If Garlett was dragged down like that and no free paid i'd be filthy.
  19. They're going to kick themselves out of this the hanbaggers. Should be at least 5 goals up! Instead, less then 3 straight kicks.
  20. Not only was he a champion player for the club during our Golden era, but the foundations he set as coach during his 5 year stint in the early 80's set Swooper up to have our most succesful period since the early 60's. I'm to young to have seen him play and was to young to remember him coaching (I have very clear memories of swooper), but for me he's in the company of Norm Smith, Checker Hughes, Robbie Flower and Jim Stynes as the clubs favourite sons/influential figures.
  21. Suprised to see sponsorships for Jetta and Billy still available.
  22. Spot on as mentioned above. Also there's no reason the dinner/fundraiser etc can't proceed. They move the matches to Oval 2 during the day and the dinner/fundraiser takes place at the completion of the matches instead of before hand like what was initially planned.
  23. Same article actually says that the Herald Sun believe that Hogan wants to stay in Melbourne. The hard copy does anyway for anyone that has a copy of the paper. I note that bit isn't on the online article though.
