The 7 Gold Medals at London was very disapointing, however as you said, it will officially become 8 once Talent is awarded his deserved Gold medal. That would in fact take us from 10th in the medal tally from London to 8th, and we still would have won more medals in total then two other countries in the top 7, so it wasn't to bad when you look at it that way. We just didn't quite get the ultimate wins one would have hoped for. As for Rio, I'm hoping to see gradual improvement like we saw from Barcelona in 92' to Atlanta in 96'. At Barcelona we won 27 medals (7 Gold) and at Atlanta we turned that into 41 medals (9 Gold and a staggering 23 Brozne). So if we can have a similar type improvement and turn our 35 medals at London into about 50 medals at Rio and 8 Gold into around 10-12, then it would make for a pretty successful games and should probably see us at a minimum in the top 7 of the medal tally.

Every chance there could be up to 18 Melbourne listed players getting a run this week with only Melksham, Mitch King, Vandenberg & JKH to miss assuming everyone pulls up ok.

Personally think Neal-Bullen is going to be a very, very good player. I like Tyson and think he'll continue to be a good player also, but have a hunch Neal-Bullen could end up being better. If the question is who's a better player now, Tyson or Neal-Bullen? Well of course Tyson is, he's got three years development on Nibbler who's in his 2nd year.

I'd actually prefer us to trade one of these two then Nibbler. Really think he's going to be something.

Nathan Brown (Collingwood) & Mitch Brown (West Coast) are both free agents and are big enough to play on the gorillas. Both turn 28 in December this year, so they could be short term options if we think we could pinch a flag in the next 3 years while using the big money on a Prestia or Kelly???

The saturday night commentary team is the worst, especially when commentating Bulldogs game. The Dogs v Crows elimination final last year was worse then listening to Eddie call filth games back when Chanel 9 had the rights. Darcy is a shocking caller also. He should stick to his mediocre special comments. The only ex player i can stomach calling games is Michael Christian.
