I think you will find that Jim Stynes will continue to be President of the Melbourne Football Club. In the notice of the AGM it was stated that Jim & some one else was up for re-election and as there were no other nominations they were duly elected. For Greg Healy to be added to the board, I believe the board will have to vote to add an extra person who would then have to re stand at the next elections at the end of this year. Has been done in the past when required.

Thanks. I too was there in Row A with 13 yr old brother. Around about old Bay 13 area. Unfortunately can't remember too much of the detail - more about the getting of the tix and the lead up to the game. Been buying a Premium membership for the last 23 years to ensure getting tickets to the next one.

North play home games at Etihad. No Darwin game this year. No predictions from me. I believe the the fixture is due to be released Fri 28th Oct - day after I sail out of the country for 7 days.

My memories of Stuart when he was President of the club. I attended a family day at the MCG. When I arrived Stuart was re-arranging rubbish bins in the concourse. Later in the day he was wearing an apron & cooking sausages on the barbie. Next assignment - wearing a bathing costume sitting in the dunking machine taking many dips - all for his beloved Melbourne Football Club. Always had time to have a chat with anyone about MFC. What is exciting me is that people are "Choosing" Melbourne over other clubs - Mark Neeld, Neil Craig - rather than the other way around as in the past - Chris Judd etc. Things are looking up. Thanks Jim & Garry.

Great night. Was scheduled for either early september or 2nd October depending on whether or not we were in the finals. Got a bit tricky when we were still in with a chance up until rd 23. In the end this Friday was the only date available. Not the best night to have it. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment that night and am unable to attend this year. Have a great night all that are going. I'll be checking here for updates.

EXACTLY. Was a member until '65 then had to stop because I was working every Saturday (the only day the game was played back then). Rejoined in '84 (still working Saturdays until 2.30) arriving at the ground at half time each week for 2 years. In '86 joined the "Demons Club" then later "Jim Stynes 205 Club" then Legends, Redlegs & lastly Tridents. Premium members for 25 years and only 2 grand finals in all that time. We will continue to be premium members as long as we can afford it regardless of ladder position, "star signings" or "celebrity coach". We love the the DEMONS and the MFC.

We usuallu go every year. Always a good night. Unable to go this year due to club changing the date. Committed to a prior engagement on that night. Not happy at missing out. You should enjoy.

Thanks Rude Boy for your thoughts on where Liam is at. It has been frustrating at times watching him play, knowing what he can do & trying to work out just what is needed to get the best out of him. I wish him well and look forward to seeing him out there giving his best & exciting us all next year.
