  1. Pick 15. Melbourne Oliver HOLLANDS 183cm/71kg 16/1/04 Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country Midfielder Hollands capped a really strong finish to the season by gathering 23 disposals and seven marks as Vic Country's best midfielder against Vic Metro late in the season. His run of form had started in Vic Country's previous game, against Western Australia in July, and carried through, with the two-way running midfielder picking up 27 disposals in each of the Bushrangers' final two games. The brother of Gold Coast's Elijah and son of former Tiger Ben, Hollands could be a midfielder in the style of Melbourne runner Ed Langdon. He just gets to work. Dutchy played some games for the Dees around 2006 I reckon too
  2. if you check the alternative fan selection on that article Clarrie is #1
  3. I remember the Summer of Sibosado well. Another example of potential being left on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wasted Potential.
  4. his twitter handle seems to focus pretty heavily on the Shi*boners
  5. Isn't he just a bogan Norf supporter. Not exactly a balanced view
  6. Normally not a fan of highlight reels but he looks the goods. Great balance, good hands and kicks straight!! Also possibly the longest legs I have ever seen!!
  7. Mine is merely a Dad Gag referring to our wonderful #3 and the Stephen King novel. Previously I was How?Jeremy Howe but sadly that became untenable
  8. @AF was originally Adam Farr from memory. @Call Me What You Will I believe is a reference to a conversation with an MCC official @Engorged Onion??
  9. Played 15 more AFL games than me. Kudos to you mate. Great clubman from what one hears,
  10. Fair to say that when viewed over a period of 18 years or so, the best teams do seem to get rewarded but those teams do change over time. Hawks were a destination club 5 years ago...not as unbalanced as all that (except for GC & GWS)
  11. Cats and Dees win Trade Week, what does that say about the system
  12. I would take Lachie Hunter...quite happily..
  13. It follows then that if everyone is thinking it, you don't need to say it. Aint the internet grand!
  14. He is still a Demon; be kinder about our own please
  15. [Godfather]😉
  16. Watching him in the GF he positioned beautifully across the half back line playing a Brayshaw role. I was impressed
  17. Can confirm that he wasn't
  18. with so many nickname opportunities too!
  19. Would question his tank to fulfil that role.
  20. Cough*Tyson Stengle*Cough OD.
  21. Went along with the family; loved showing my 18 year old what going to the fotty in the old days was like. We wound up on the Northern wing in front of the old members stand. The 1sts were ensconced in the back of the stand and got pretty vocal as the game wore on. AFL Stand outs for me were Chandler - worked hard all day Weid - Tireless against a significantly bigger body Woey - A real surprise packet. Excellent field position and game awareness Melky - Too good for this level Disco - Blue collar solid AVR - Battled hard on a day designed specifially to NOT showcase his skills My son who stood out in the rain for the duration while faint hearts saught shelter - a true next generation Demon diehard
  22. Just musing on potential headlines if he does join us: "GrunDee!" "GrunDeeal" Too soon?
  23. Remember to bob down at the ticket window to buy your "junior" ticket. Worked for me till I was 22!
  24. Just around the corner for this aging innercity hipster! I'll be there! Go Dees!
