  1. Ahem, Just sayin......
  2. I agree, Rivers has been quite poor for a while but seems to get a pass. Good player but could do with a spell I reckon
  3. 5:12pm Should have been thrown out by now, surely
  4. An enduring disgrace that Goodwin didn't get the opportunity to speak after the Grand Final. A high point of his and our lives ruined by Basil Z - a complete peanut
  5. Its not about the draft pick number. Its about ability, development and progress. I'd like to see Sam as desperate as Bedford when he gets a chance to show his wares. Sadly he has rarely shown that desperation or any attribute that the club can utilise in any consistent way.
  6. Now you are making stuff up. Please tell me where I quoted his draft order? I also never said he was a 'spud or star'. Just tells me you can't see the wood for the trees. I commented on his attributes and his performance but you haven't addressed either of those as it doesn't suit your narrative, And I would rather have Majak or M Brown or JVR if you must know.
  7. You can't see the wood for the trees on this. He was drafted in 2015 hence is in his 7th year of AFL. He has played 1 good game - a final no less against Geelong - and being generous say 3 other serviceable games. That is a bust in anyone's language. He is a 2 grab mark and an unreliable set shot. I'd trade him in a heart beat.
  8. 51 i50s for 7 goals including 1 after half time (yes he played FB for some of it) means all our fwds were largely putrid
  9. Mitch Brown is streets ahead of Sam
  10. Mitch can mark the ball
  11. You don't know what the problem is and you are making a diagnosis Impressive
  12. He didn't lead at the ball once as far as I could tell. Maybe the time he marked it in the pocket. So gets very little separation and yet is terrible body on body, Seemed to be in the same spots is BB I am in the camp its 3 min to midnight on his career. he needs to find some niche pronto. Maybe that is defence where he can go at the ball and read the play. What else is there for him? Shame. Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.
  13. Our structures were all over the place. Weid at FBack, Spargo on the wings, mids being crucified (Oliver in 1st half excepted), our contested marking was non existent as they thrashed us in the air.... Talls are a problem for us. Brisbane with Daniher and Hipwood and McStay are difficult, Carlton with McKay and Curnow will be interesting and Freo clearly beat us there. Despite this we kicked 3 posters and if Fritsch and Dunstan kick those goals in the 2nd qtr we would have been 42ish points up.
  14. The way he got bodied out of contests was concerning. I get he is basically a lead up forward but he was restrained by Freo's defence continually. Much of it illegal, yet when Hunt got in a wrestle with Lobb - free kick Lobb. BB seems woefully out of form
  15. Great news. Wow.
  16. Gee lets think hard??? May goes down, Petty does an ankle, TMac not playing and their talls are marking everything that is going their way. Can't for the life of me think of why Weid was sent down back. Maybe because he was ripping it up in the forward line.....
  17. 4 guys back this week! Langdon, Harmes, Salem and TMac Bewdy
  18. Not one premiership player amongst the Freo team. Just sayin....
  19. Seems the Shinboner spirit has turned into a slaughterhouse. Long may it continue. I have a long memory. (I was spat on by an 80yo female North supporter at Arden Street in the 70s!)
  20. Was probably more front on contact alto they paid it as dangerous I have to say I thought it was totally legal
  21. Ryder is a gun. What is he now? 38? 40? Amazing
  22. Quite good as a small pressure forward. The second question? Meh.
  23. Dunstan can find the pill but his disposal is actually quite poor. Handballs to feet etc. I can see why the Saints weren't sold on him. That said he is a more than useful fill in for an inside mid.
  24. Hang on I thought it was Freo that was best to challenge us? I can't keep up.
