  1. Snow gags? OMG they are hilarious. Maybe we should oblige with some Mardi Gras gags or rain jokes Sydney's Observatory Hill weather station registered 1547.4 mm of rain during the first six months of 2022, marking the wettest January to June period in 164 years of records. Melbourne rainfall to Jun 1 - 151 m
  2. They all made the Grand Final though.....

This is a key to our defence. Gawn, Jackson or TMac blocking the outlets from Opp defence is vital. The mids block the corridor. TMac also does a lot of pack busting that we missed dearly when he first went out

Feel free to detail these instances. I don't see it
  6. Scully took the money and is a forgotten footballer that did nothing and has no allegiances. Neither GWS Melbourne or hawthorn will remember him fondly Have a great life Tom

I have seen this written a few times now and curious as to how you arrive at this conclusion? 2012 played 20 games 2013 player 17 games 2014 played 21 games 2015 played 22 games 2016 played 22 games 2017 played 22 games 2018 played 20 games (starting at rd 6 - next games he had 2, 2, 5, 4, 2, 4, 6 goals) 2019 played 15 games (didn't play after rd 16) 2020 played 9 games (covid year - he had a poor year along with the club) 2021 played 23 games I think its complete BS frankly. He has had one poor year and now it is set in stone that TMac takes a long time to get back up to speed. "a stumbling block to his career" you say. "Diabolically once he reaches a patch of his best form he gets injured again" 2018 he didn't start till rd 6 and played well out of the blocks Tom will be fine.
  8. He is on record as saying he hated playing at St Kilda and would have left to play somewhere for fun. The fact he is at the Dees (as insurance largely) - and opportunities haven't been plentiful for him - is possibly annoying for him but I reckon he is at peace with his decision.. And he still has some flaws in his game despite getting Brownlow votes...
  9. That subconscious works both ways, Any team that gets ahead of the Pies wont take their foot off the gas
  10. Shame for him the team he left is playing finals....

General. The AFL had to compete with the NRL in their home markets and even though crowd numbers are low in the NRL, viewing numbers are huge.

60% of all advertising revenue comes from NSW and Southern Queensland Thats why we have GWS and Gold Coast. Tassie generates around 6% In case you think this is about emotion and history
  13. Same here
  14. This a problem when you have: 1. a 23 round fixture,; and 2. All the Dreamtime games, the Derbies, the Heritage rounds, ANZAC Days etc Would like to see an analysis of past years and those with easy draws falling in the finals...if anyone can be bothered.....
  15. Good article Its a blight on the game Remarkable how many times commentators refer to the ladder saying things like Geelong are the stand out without doing the most rudimentary analysis of the fixture. A bit like Brisbane and their home ground advantage
  16. Isn't there an MVP based on the Players votes? I'd suggest that would be pretty high up on their wish list
  17. We have the number 1 defence in the competition based on Pts against Other teams will be intimidated to meet Melbourne in a home final at the G
  18. Disgraceful hit. Should be weeks
  19. Pretty sure your mate Weid won't get a gig
  20. Have I misread this? Ah OK, I see now. If it goes according to seedings we play the winner of Coll v Freo
  21. If we beat Sydney we play the winner of Freo and the Dogs in the Prelim Not unhappy with that.
  22. A win against Sydney sees us play the winner of Freo and the Dogs in the Prelim
  23. Where is the vision? Do you have a link?
  24. One of those times he had just come off the bench and Brisbane were attacking so he took himself down to defence to take a good intercept mark
