Its not about the draft pick number. Its about ability, development and progress. I'd like to see Sam as desperate as Bedford when he gets a chance to show his wares. Sadly he has rarely shown that desperation or any attribute that the club can utilise in any consistent way.

You can't see the wood for the trees on this. He was drafted in 2015 hence is in his 7th year of AFL. He has played 1 good game - a final no less against Geelong - and being generous say 3 other serviceable games. That is a bust in anyone's language. He is a 2 grab mark and an unreliable set shot. I'd trade him in a heart beat.
