  1. Schache and Laurie played well today. Schache 12K 7H 8M 4 goals 2 beh 7 HOs Laurie 16k 16h Harmes got a lot of the ball but from what I saw wasn't super damaging. Dunstan his usual self. Jefferson 6Kicks 1 point
  2. Disgraceful performance. Grundy is being smashed, the defence is being torn apart. May, Petty and Thommo are all having shockers Oliver is unsighted, Sparrow - is he even playing? - TMac was straight up kneed in the back by Draper in a ruck contest - play on. He should be rubbed out. This is truly a pathetic display
  3. Great Modern Dynasties of football Brisbane 2001-2003 Geelong 2007-2011 Hawthorn 2013-2015 Richmond 2017-2020 Carlton Round 1-3 2022 Carlton Round 1-4 2023
  4. Unless I am in an aeroplane!
  5. Just like how they bragged about shutting the entire State because one person supposedly caught Covid off a pizza box. Not too smart over there. Turns out the one person was a chef from a city hotel picking up some illicit substances from the pizza parlour and unsurprisingly lied about it to the 'contact tracers'.
  6. Yes we certainly don't want any flappable stoppers.
  7. Never in the history of 'Calm Down' has anyone being told to 'Calm Down' actually Calmed Down. Just sayin....
  8. Agree thats why they didn't announce the Gus deal until they were pretty sure Jackson was leaving.
  9. This appears as a one off payment, not a permanent increase so not sure it helps the kozzie deal - unless they give him the $500k upfront and say we'll front end your deal.....
  10. Maybe not. Last year they didn't announce the Brayshaw deal because they wanted some flexibility around the contract until they heard from Jackson. Well in the end they announced the Brayshaw deal and lo and behold 5 weeks later Jackson leaving became public
  11. Just the Herald Sun trawling Demonland for stories again.
  12. The weather in Adelaide will suit Jordon just sayin....
  13. Stadiums will be empty for the non Adelaide team games.
  14. And what is Scully's legacy? Zilch. He's like a mutt from the pound. No home, no friends he can have a catch up with to reminisce about the old days. And his father probably ate all the money
  15. The umpiring was disgraceful We even got awarded some woeful decisions. But the second qtr for the weagles was about the worst you will see
  16. Daicos runs around on his own most weeks. Oliver would be picked before him every day of the week.
  17. The back of the post/padding is in line with the back of the goal line it would seem
  18. The Tigers hardly gave anything up.......🤣 Richmond’s raid on the Giants’ midfield is complete. Eight days after Tim Taranto joined the Tigers in exchange for picks 12 and 19, his ex-GWS teammate Jacob Hopper is joining him at Punt Road. They both accepted seven-year deals. The Giants traded Hopper and picks 53 and 63 for Richmond’s future first-round selection and the No.31 pick this year.
  19. The other part is that it appeared there was no review. Or if there was it was cursory and rushed. If it was a 1 pt ball game would they have taken more care? Highly likely Typical AFL with half baked solutions. You either do the job properly or don't do it and leave it to the umpires.
  20. But in everything (out of bounds or a score etc) the ball has to be beyond the line - not the post or padding
  21. Are you sure about that? Doesn't look it to me
  22. 6 Grundy 5 Viney 4. Oliver 3. TMac 2. Rivers 1. May
  23. Frustrating game but.... Eagles went in with a plan to clog up the game and contest We ground it out despite some poor umpiring and lots of fumbles Our tackle numbers were great and we pressured them all game We worked our way through it and did what good teams do - strangle them slowly when we're not playing well Our winning average at Optus Stadium dropped Grundy working his way into some good form Fwd line efficiency was good We are a much more flexible and unpredictable side now 4 points no injuries percentage boost away from home, move on.
