Just watched Fox footy where King and Montagna both picked the Dees for the flag. Said the Dees were 18th for moving through the corridor in 2022. Pre season games showed us aggressively moving through the corridor and changing angles to straighten up our attack We will be much harder to play against this year and we will get a good chance to see that in action when we play Sydney in Round 3 - a team we have struggled against for years.

The two practice games couldn't not have gone any better. Good experimentation hard running no injuries. Wins are nice but secondary. We want some early wins as our draw is challenging but its a long season.

The goal umpire was standing behind the post directly in line with the ball. Infuriating that they do this. Often they stand in front of the post and it hits them Clearly they are instructed to adjudicate this way .

Has anyone ever thought that maybe the club doesn't want to disclose too much what its doing? The off season is where you experiment with positional changes, game plans, tactics etc. Is it any wonder that the club wants to keep a few things under wraps?

There would be recent stats about the percentage of goals kicked from the corridor and either side. Logic tells you there must be a higher percentage from the corridor. One of our issues is that we are trying to protect the rebound from our fwd line. Hence the kick to the pocket.

It sounds like you have never dealt with Government before. There are three levels of government that would be involved plus planning and environmental departments of each. Its herding cats cubed and an unenviable task. And just when you think you may have it nailed, governments change or decision makers change etc.
