Cant believe this story gets any oxygen. F****n amazing that our 'supporters' and members would consider it for a microsecond. Just imagine what Essendon, Carlton, Collingwood or Richmond would do??

Ian Dicker saved Hawthorn. Not Kennett. He is a self-aggrandising loud mouth who has no love for the MFC. He would be an incredibly divisive figure at Melbourne. We need that like a hole in the head. Lets say he did become president on the backing of you members (I say you because I wouldn't vote for him) and advocated moving to Tassie or merging with GC. Both, positions he has advocated. Would you be happy with that? Hmm didn't think so. He needs to f off and leave the MFC alone. We need someone with drive, proper credentials and who is passionate about he MFC.

If we don't get a PP then no-one will ever get one. How ironic that we will receive funds from the AFL this year and get a PP. Despite not tanking again. Dimwit you are a moron.
-
So you would have been happy for Gys to continue despite his well publicised issue with training?? Same for Molony really, You can't have the lunatics running the asylum.

4 out of the last 6 years we have been 1 and 11 after rd 11. What does that tell you?? Neeld didn't get the job by coming in and saying "you have a crap list it will take me 5 years to re-build it" He has made the list worse and he can't coach. Last 3 rds losses by 95, 83 and 89. Can anyone seriously defend him?
-
My understanding is thats why he was brought in. For a smooth handover.....watch this space

Hey I read another stat today. The 4th time in 6 seasons we have been 1 win and 10 losses after rd 11. God I love this club. They give their all year after year.

I say two things to this thread..... The board needs to go but WHO is standing up to drive the club forward?? Its pathetic that we need Kennet to calling for Board change. thats how much passion has been sucked from this club. Very few seem to give a stuff because they have been treated like a mangy dog - being kicked around for months and years and pretty soon all fight is gone. They stand whimpering in the corner. Thats how this club feels to me. It will show affection for anyone that gives it a pat. Secondly, we have already had a big review. It was called the Andrews report. It was shelved because no-one liked it and it told too many home truths. Largely (from my understanding) about CSchwab and Connolly and how they "allegedly" undermined Bailey. Now I don't know the truth of any of that but it sure as hell was like a nuclear explosion at this club. Jackson is nobody's puppet and so some good may come of it but it will probably be another shiitfight. I don't know much but I know this. When you have cancer you to cut it all out otherwise you are a goner. We didn't cut it out last time. Hopefully it aint too late.

Has been that way since Junior left.....

Mark Neeld: "I think the Pies have had 24 shots at goal as a direct result of us turning the footy over." Now, I think Neeld should go but surely he is not responsible for these players butchering it??
-
The bit I don't get is this: We have 5 people who have coached at senior level involved with the club - Neeld, Viney, Craig, Connolly, Rawlings Surely there is some coaching talent there. They can't all be shiite?? They must have some answers?? I know Neeld has the final call as senior coach but surely all the others aren't following him over the cliff??

In the past 3 rounds (9,10,11) our total score in the first half v our opposition has been: 4 goals 6 behinds to 32 goals 28 behinds The first 3 quarters totals are: 13 goals 22 behinds to 41 goals 40 behinds The three losses have been 83pts, 95pts and 90pts When is something going to happen?? Or do we blindly carry on until there are no supporters left? Bailey is a genius compared to Neeld. Coached with his hands tied behind his back and aside from 186 never had this run of losses. WTF is happening to our club?? When are people going to rise up and do something?? FFS we have left it to the Brown and Gold Muppet Kennet to be calling for Board change. How pathetic is that?? I'm outta her...

Another week. Another 5000 supporters gone. Can't go on for too much longer.....

Sadly you are not in the minority. I too have given up investing emotion into this tired wreck of a club. Its too upsetting. Played golf today. Didn't even check the footy score. Felt much better for the experience (and my golf was shiite). The club needs a drastic overhaul. We need new blood. Melbourne blood not some brown and gold huckster. Where are the Melbourne people?? Why aren't any stepping up to the plate and agitating for board change?? How pathetic is it that a Hawthorn muppet is agitating for board change at the Dees - THAT is how pathetic we have become - and not one person in the media or elsewhere has mentioned that aspect. Its totally embarrassing.

Shame you are wrong on that. Ran his own advertising agency for years. If only 2 or 3 of Juliars cabinet had real world jobs we wouldnt be in such a mess at a Federal level..

Care to spellcheck your heaadline?
-
The performances, effort and attitude tell you what they think. It ain't good.
-
Do you mean Billabong?
-
Fail. I doubt you have been on a board.

I never really went away.....

I'm not against change. Far from it. I'm against Jeff unless you can't distinguish between the two. I get people want someone of Jeff's capabilities but he is a total [censored] who has advocated our club be shifted. If you want to pack your lot in with someone like that you can nick off as well. But I don't see a conga line of ready made Directors and potential Presidents standing up making a case. That said I would have Don anyday over Jeff. Lets find a diehard Demon that has qualities we need.
-
I really hate this thinking. Its pathetic.
-
Jeff is a [censored] who loves the sound of his own voice and his own ideas. F*** off Jeff

ESPN is reporting that Major League Baseball will seek to suspend about 20 players connected to the Miami-area clinic at the heart of an ongoing performance-enhancing-drug scandal, possibly within the next few weeks. The players include New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, currently on the disabled list, and Ryan Braun, the Milwaukee Brewer outfielder named the National League's most valuable player in 2011. Both ESPN and the Associated Press reported the clinic's founder, Anthony Bosch, has agreed to talk to Major League Baseball about players linked to performance-enhancing drugs. After a game Tuesday, Braun said he was done talking about the clinic and that "the truth has not changed," according to the AP. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said the team had no comment. AFL can't hide Essendon. Get rid of the lot of em.......

Not altogether true. We cant sack coaches at will and expect replacements will line up for a job with that kind of track record. I think Neeld should go but on our timetable not the media's. Lets have a plan in place before he goes. We will find the money of the right coach is found. On any measure Neeld cannot have possibly met any KPIs
