Maybe some of us are just sick of footy when we have been kicked in the guts for 8 yrs. There are better things to do in life than subject yourself to torment when its voluntary. The club needs to realise that people have options to do with their limited time. My kids are just about cooked with footy. The club can't afford to lose any supporters let alone the future. So stick to your Pollyanna outlook on life. Must be great.

The round has already completed one game, You can't cancel the round. They can't shift the grand final or the finals series. the logistics are incalculable. They will more than likely postpone the game between the Crows and the Cats or the cats/crows may magnanimously accept 2 pts each instead of playing and stage a send off for Phil.

Roos' job is to get the best out of his players. That's what he is trying to do with Howe. Unless he has written him off like Frawley and Sylvia. Its called coaching. Howe's best is well good enough to be elite. We just don't seem to be seeing much consistency in his performances but the coaches know intimately what they want him to do and how he is measuring up against those ideals.

Actually he didn't apologise from what I have seen. He regrets doing it and wouldn't do it again. Subtle difference but no apology unless I have missed something.

The question was a rather flippant comment about whether he was lazy. The players all wear GPS trackers and the club knows the miles that get logged. Add this to their visual aids and what they see themselves then they are in a great psition to know whether he is lazy, doing what he is supposed to do or falling down in a couple of areas. As i understand it the players get continual feedback about this stuff. If he was lazy then he would have been told and know what he has to do to fix it. Personally I don't think he is lazy. He has had an ordinary year though.

His stats would indicate that but the club has his GPS readouts. They know what running he does You can't too much on the field any more..

This is a team that came out and smashed other teams with their physicality. Ratten and Carlton were gobsmacked at how they transformed their bodies over one summer. They even complained to the AFL. This stinking carcass of a club tried to get an advantage and they have ben caught out. No sympathy. Not now, not then, not ever. To say the players are innocent is the biggest load of crap to come out of this saga. Apparently not one player checked with their manager, parents, doctor etc etc about what they were taking. I've said this many times before but the simple reason is that NSW and Southern QLD are responsible for 60% of advertising revenue. Rugby league has a huge television audience and gets most of that money. Sth Queensland is the fastest growing area of the country (or at least was a few years back). To generate higher broadcast rights the AFL needed more representation in Western Sydney and Southern Queensland. Hence GWS and the Suns. ps It's not about the fans and football.
