Yeah, nah, He is not a leader for mine. Great player but in the leadership stakes isn't a patch on Selwood, Hodge, Boak, Reiwoldt etc When you look at Nathan Jones and his 'coaching' of Gus I have never seen Juddy do that with Murphy, Gibbs etc You're welcome to your opinion but I disagree.

Could you pls just point out where that long line of blue chip midfielders is queuing up to come to the Dees? We haven't secured an elite/blue chip midfielder in the trade period for over 30 years. Its just laughable to think we can attract that calibre of football. We never have.
-
First part of that is right. He was nowhere near a leader. Not sure if you noticed the WCE drug problem? Or some similar issues at Carlton with Fev Levi Casboult etc. All under his watch. Judd is a lone wolf. Champion player but no interest in him at our club - and why would he want to by the way?

Read the post again. A kick in is in its own category. I didn't say it was a TO. You are making that up. Thats how the stats are presented. Not saying they are right, just how its done.
-
Agreed. If you have the ball and cough it up and the other team has unbroken possession and gets a goal, that is a T/O. The three ways of getting a goal are in essence from a TO, from a stoppage and from a kick in.

So you were wrong? -
Thought he was pushed under the ball on at least 3 occasions that I can recall....

Didn't Fitzy play most of the game in White? Thought he demolished White.

It was one of the few times we have won the midfield against a quality opposition. That shows how important it is because we 'should have' won the game (ie: if we reduce our mistakes and didn't gift them at least 5 goals) We had a real crack. Tackling was hard and smart (no Matt Jones tumbling into someone's back etc) Some incredibly dumb mistakes. The wrong free against TMac for OOF was a terrible blow when we had kicked 5 in a row. A few brain fades that should reduce with time playing at this kind of level. V poor effort from the coaching box. Starting to get a little concerned about the consultant on game day and certainly don't like the deflection about the loose man set up. We have let this happen all year and its a momentum killer. We aren't good enough or smart enough yet to pick our way through a crowded fwd line. Many of our goals were fast break type goals when we had space. Same for the Pies. Having the ball come back immediately and shoot up the other end is pretty demoralizing after you have been piling the pressure on. Probably the best game I have seen Gawn play (which isn't much) and it was obvious how much grunt Viney adds to our midfield set up. And I just love Gus. Every time he made a mistake or got beaten he involved himself in the next play and atoned. That is a great sign of a competitor. And Bernie, Cross and NJones were simply immense. Absolute warriors.

Happy that the ship is listing to one side and the players are cooked. Their list is rubbish and totally overrated by them. They won't be able to rebuild with the draft sanctions and no player will willingly go there you would think. The draftees they have taken are now getting to their last legs and I hope they dwell in the cellar for at least a decade. Hird to be rubbed out of all sport for life. And for Tarnia to have that [censored] eating grin wiped from her face.

They can't because a complaint has been made by a member of the public. Thye have to run it as I understand it. Now, why they waited for a complaint from the public is beyond me. Some 12 months after the initial exposure. I would be in jail alread if I did that to my staff.

It was actually announced last night. I am not sure I have ever seen a nominee from the 'late' game before announced so soon after a game. Not sure who is responsible for nominating him but they got it right. Great job Angus well done. -
It was pretty technical. If the ball stayed on the ground it was not free but because he lifted it slightly ...boom...free kick. The ump could just have easily let it slide. How many golas have we given up in the last 4 weeks on the gial line because our defenders can't kill the pill when it is dribbling around the goal line. I'd suggest at least 5. FMD its frustrating.

Judd is no leader. Ask any that have played with him. FFS he was handcuffed to Levi Casboult when they had to ring LC's father because the 18yo was so smashed he couldn't stand up. Great leadership Juddy. Lets see Mitch RObinson, oh can't be bothered...
