  1. Good to see they acknowledge the disaster that is 2019. The key is what they do about it. We have been fed platitudes for 13 years and you could probably print the same letter for 10 of those 13 years. We've heard it all before. They're lucky the club has any supporters left. Just fix the **** mess. Demand better from everyone involved.
  2. Gee that ruins your narrative doesn't it. It was clearly coaching in 2018 when they changed the game style after the debacle that was the Sydney game in rd 20. As acknowledged by me and others. Its clearly coaching in 2019. He has botched it and is trying to blame everybody else. Muppets like you haven't got a clue. Thanks for proving me right. play again soon.
  3. Geez its everybody else's fault isnt it Simon? No wonder they have cleaned out the coaching ranks. All will be sweet in 2020. My God what a train wreck.
  4. Well well well. Color me shocked. No on field leadership. Complete shambles in the coaching ranks, Is it any surprise the Dees finished 17th. And there'll still be some muppets saying it was all pre-season injuries
  5. Jetta fires long low bullets. A joy to watch. Davey from memory was much shorter but yes, very accurate The only one that we have to match Jetta would be Melksham.
  6. This would be a coaching issue. And the reason we have cleaned out the coaching ranks.
  7. This needs an update Outscored 28.21 to 8.19 in first quarters.. ha ha ....last 7 finals
  8. There are numerous poor aspects to our game plan, players skills and player positioning that the coaches don't appear to be able to identify - or at least be able to rectify. Playing Jones & Lewis on the wings is one (and Tyson last year), Fritsch down back. Allowing opposition teams to chip the ball and play keepings off against us is another. Not sure why you are so confident they know what the issues are.
  9. And Hawkins goalless for the 3rd week in a row.
  10. But we were told it was just pre-season injuries ....now we find out every coaching position bar the senior coach has been changed...I just don't know who to believe anymore..
  11. We've made more changes than them You don't like research much do you (mate)?
  12. I recall he said he wanted to be a "Hall of Famer" Yeah right
  13. Is there any coaching position that is untouched other than Goodwin? Every position has been changed or personnel moved on. Yet according to some here our performance in 2019 is nothing to do with coaching - its all our injuries and surgeries. Those people look pretty stupid now. This is the biggest 1 year cleanout of coaching staff in the AFL for probably a decade Sadly we are stuck with Goodwin. The cause of it all.
  14. jnrmac replied to GCDee's topic in Melbourne Demons
We would still need a coach with a decent plan. We could recruit Jesus H Christ and look like a spud under goodwin
  15. There is re-writing of history going on here - people have short memories. It wasn't about winning the trade, it was about the fact we were so appalling as a football team that we needed to get 2 decent players into the team rather than one. Josh Kelly is clearly a gun and Tyson was 3 yrs into his development. And altho it didn't work out - we did get Pruess - if we had Kelly as a fledgling player there is every chance we would have ruined his career as we have done with a number of low picks and every chance our improvement would have been delayed which we couldn't afford
  16. The AA is a bit of a joke but you're right. Max is clearly the best ruckman with hitouts and taps to advantage. And...the AFL put him on the bench. Idiots
  17. We've been stuffed by the AFL and/or the expansion clubs every time we bottom out
  18. Personally I am glad that the club decided to reset after the bye. It was great getting those two wins agains Freo and Carlton. Made the year really worthwhile and we have set ourselves up for a blinder in 2020. Lets hope we have no more of these "line in the sand" games and "the players take full responsibility" for a complete c*ckup of a season.
  19. Its an internet forum, Why are you here then? If you don't believe him, great, ignore him.
  20. You clearly didn't see his work that got the ball to ANB in the last 40 seconds of the game
  21. Not sure your maths is right... At 3/4 time rd 9 WCE +12pts kicked 1.3 to 6.1 lost by 16 Rd 11 Adel +16 kicked 1.8 to 5.2 lost by 2pts Rd 18 WCE +6 kicked 1.2 to 4.3 lost by 13 Rd 23 NM +5 kicked 1.7 to 3.1 lost by 5 So 4 games leading at 3/4 time and kicked 4.20 to lose all 4. Our opponents kicked 18.7 Appalling
  22. We all hope the Dees win but for a team that is broken, with no leadership, no coaching clues and no pride playing the last game of the year in sub zero conditions you would have to say the Kangas by 85 with Brown kicking 14
  23. Another trip to the PLayers Association for these millenial lightweights
