Apropos of nothing, Michael Hurley has laid 6 tackles in 8 games this year. Great AA defender. Even Jack Watts, who has always been 'measured' against Hurley as they were taken in the same draft has had 23 tackles!

As good as the dominance yesterday was and at the risk of spoiling everyone's party we haven't beaten anyone yet. Maybe North but Brisbane, Gold Coast, Essendon and St Kilda currently 14th, 15th, 16th and 18th on the ladder. We play the 17th team, Carlton, this week. So while it is pleasing to have the opportunity to get some percentage, some wins and gain confidence playing footy our way, some of the over the top commentary on here is totally and utterly ridiculous. Get a grip.

He didn't have a lot of stats but at half time he had run 7.5km the second most on the ground behind Hogan who also hadn't done much at that point. When players are running and spreading its a good thing. It creates space. And even if they don't get the ball they take a player with them. You don't know what Weid's instructions are. Its possible he is being told to roam up hte ground and take a key player out with him. The fact he keeps getting picked suggests they like the flexibility he offers. And as a backup ruckman he does a pretty good job.

Equalled the record for the most i50s in a game 83. Should have been a 100pt win.
