The 2020 Trade Period
I am a Clarkson fan but this is hilarious. We have been on the poor end of draft compromises (and didn't help ourselves with poor drafting) but for him to come out now complaining is freaking amazing. Not only that they have raided clubs and sold future picks like a drunk throws cash at a strip club, Now they find they have no picks and the talent has been compromised. No [censored] Sherlock This is fantastic. We should go for the juggular and start raiding any talent they do have. No one will want to sit there why they rebuild for 5 years. Do it melbourne. And we get their 2nd round pick this year. Sweet

Just watch his contests. And then watch what happens when the opponent makes a second effort. Omac is still on the ground or 4 paces behind. Slowest reaction time of our entire list with the exception of maybe his brother.

Why would that be? You make it sound like its a lock. You know he was dropped right? presumably for not doing the team things and under performing

Ed Langdon on SEN (31/08/20)
I think he'll be higher. You often see guys come to a club and when their output is up it seems to be rated more highly than incumbents. Just a hunch but I think he'll surprise on the upside..

Trac's Last Goal
I wonder how this conversation would have gone if it was overturned and called a point. We likely would have lost the game and then.......

James Harmes is being wasted
In 2018 Harmes was a great tagger AND an offensive weapon.

TEAMS: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
I honestly believe a good coach would have this team humming, We have all of the elements. The fact it has taken so long to try and fix the "connection" between the mids and fwds is telling. The fact that in critical games and marquee time slot games we fold like a cheap suit. Regardless today is really the line in the sand. Goodwin has made significant statements with selection and if we lose I think we are basically out of the race. And of that happens he should go as soon as practicable. The game today should tell us a lot. We basically have a full list, an ex-Saints coach and possibly a favourable venue. If we get smashed today I think the knives will be out and all hell will break loose.

You're assuming a lot. Maybe it's been going on for some time Harmes has not been happy playing in the backline for some time it would seem

I'm siding with these comments on harmes I hope Goodwin gets selection right this weekend. I'm worried but it's a ballsy call Almost like his future will pivot on this one game. Lose and we're most likely done and he'll look like a chump. Win and he'll look like a brilliant strategist. Why does it have to come to this tho. We have so much talent and yet the coach can't seem to get them playing consistent hard football.

TEAMS: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
I'm interested in the harmes decision. Clearly playing badly and clearly not playing the way the coach wants. It seems clear to nearly everyone here that he's not a half back and he's a better on baller/tagger But we also don't know exactly the roles/instructions he's been given What's the verdict from ppl here. A bad move by the coach or should harmes lift his game and do what the team demands or is he stiff for being played out of position?
