  1. Just back from the G. Outstanding last 1/4 and a half. Gawn, Hibberd, Lever and Salem were a class above. Jordon needs a rest, looked at sea today and tired. Jones well off the pace, Spargo strangely quiet We were smashed in the clearances until the last qtr and then the floodgates opened. Such a great feeling.
  2. Hibberd magnificent
  3. Jirdon has had a shocker. Need a rest
  4. Do you enjoy being curled up in the foetal position like Kevin Rudd talking about the bogey man?
  5. We have beaten them the last 3 times. The last time they beat us was the catalyst for us surging to the finals. They played keepings off and we didn't know how to deal with it. Geelong tried to do the same last week and we beat them We are a better side than 2018 and we have Yze Dees by 36
  6. More similar to bendigo Bank I would think, They have evolved out of an amalgamation of credit unions...
  7. They are and have been all year. Not sure when they signed but IG are no longer the shorts sponsor I noticed. Perhaps all the sponsor agreements run to end of Feb and the new contracts take over?
  8. Player managers test a players worth all the time,. Its a part of their job. And to show you're serious the player usually has to meet another club and/or tour their facilities Nothing unual at all about this if true. Carry on.
  9. Remarkable dealing with peter Bell that we got a good deal...
  10. Watch the play in the last qtr where Lever stopped the almost certain goal and in the background you see Hunt take off and burn off 3 or 4 geelong players in the chase to put pressure on. Great stuff
  11. I confess I was chatting to him pre-season and was very confident after speaking with him about his prospects. Said high half forward is a very difficult role to play. You can do the same thing each week and one week have 3 posessions the other kick 4 goals like in the last round v Essendon. So much depnds on what happens up the ground. He was looking forward to being allowed to be more creative off half back under the new rules. Appears to be gaining more confidence and finding a good rapport with Langdon, Salem, May etc.
  12. I know its only round 4 but Hunt so far is looking terrific.....
  13. One of Fritsch Picket or Jackson was involved in every single goal (except the Gawn centre square goal but Jackson was competing in the goal square at least)
  14. We need a premiership Kate
  15. He. Is. 19 years old. He was a bottom age recruit that has amazing potential. Wow.
  16. Not sure if it's been mentioned but we have won 6 on the trot as we won the final 2 games of last year... Not sure when that happened last...
  17. Let's hope she has success much like Peggy O'Neill.....
  18. I saw this guy there ....
  19. I saw Hunt streaming through the middle to put pressure on. This team is behaving selflessly which we haven't seen for a long time
  20. I said after round 2 we are starting to see some maturity from this team and yesterday confirmed it in my view. Solid all round game. Hunt finding his feet at half back, Kozzie doing Kozzie things, Gawn a towering strength, Petracca imposing himself like we knew he could, Oliver relentless in his pursuit of the ball, Langdon - totally indefatigable and very creative, Lever rock solid general down back and a shout out to Tomlinson who has performed very well this year and particularly yesterday when called upon to take Hawkins. There is something about this group that shows resolve and confidence in the way the are playing. When things weren't happening down back, Lever took control and really rallied the team. A lot to like.
  21. Gawn Petracca Lever Viney Oliver 0.5 Fritsch 0.5 Langdon
  22. How about we select the right side to match and beat the opposition? Just a thought. There seems to be a lot less experimenting with personnel in the first few rounds this year compared to previous years. It might be because we're winning or it might be because we're more mature as a group. We've certainly shown greater signs of maturity in the first 3 rounds.
  23. You clearly don't play golf Sue! When you play golf in the wind its very easy to know what the wind does to a ball's flight. You know when you hit a solid straight shot or if you have hit the ball with a draw (or slice) . The sideways movements are exacerbated but a straight shot is much less affected generally. I doubt it is any different for kicking a football.
  24. I don't think so because at least 3 were rushed. Not sure how many....
