What They Are Saying in Lathlain
We are a 3 goal a qtr better side as a minimum. Less than a 12 goal win would be a wasted opportunity. Could give 186 a shake

Unfair fixtures for Top 4 contenders
Its a similar argument to those that say the Dees 'haven't played anyone yet' You have to base games on last years ladder position as best you can then fit in the showdowns, derbys, marquee matches etc. Basing an argument on this years ladder position is plain silly as no one could predict it. Port Giants Ess and Bulldogs have all underperformed dramatically and very few would have predicted all four of those events. and I don't even bother with the fixture now. We can beat anyone anywhere.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Lyon was atrocious. he started off incredibly biased having admitted he hasnt watched the Dees a lot this year and you could literally hear the cogs in his brain whirring as he grudgingly (at first) started to admit the Dees were a cut above all other teams. He was fully on board by late in the game.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
We play to defend leads, not to put our feet down and win by 80. In the last we knew they would come, that they would take more risks and try to attack the corridor. Our set up was all about negating that and taking the heat out of the game. We have been doing it for a while. I suspect it will come back to bite us one day but I can see why they are doing it

CHANGES: Rd 09 vs West Coast
At half time Lever was on the bike during the team meeting - everyone else was seated. That was probably for the corky But he also had one boot off. Just sayin...

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Sorry I haven't read the first 5 pages but just got back from the game.... Our first half was incredible. The Saints were clueless as to how to play us, they were stagnant, tried switching, tried short passing and in the end then they just kept bombing the ball into our fwd line. Our ability to cover the switch play was supreme. Our structure and system is so sound my heart rate didn't get above 50. I knew the Saints would come out after half time and try to move the ball quicker and through the corridor but it didn't matter. They kicked 2 goals to our 1 in the 3rd. Amazing performance and we are blessed to be watching such an outstanding team. Brayshaw, May, Langdon, Tracc, Brown, TMac, Spargo, Petty, Bowser, Viney, Lever, JJ and Jacko take a bow. I love youse all.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs St. Kilda
The problem for you is that you have no idea what TMac was told to work on or what he was expected to do. You are making guesses based on stats. The footy dept looks well beyond that.

Clarry contractual news
Key players often sign deals whereby they partake in any future increase in broadcast rights etc,

Premiership Coach Simon Goodwin extends until 2024
Interesting to talk about the Demon spirit, taking less money than otherwise could be got and wanting to keep the team and staff together working towards the ultimate goal. Great message for everyone but particularly Jackson and Brayshaw, currently out of contract!

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
You will get a chance this year at the MCG. Even better :)

Steven May One on One
We had Frost and O'Mac and were the easiest team to score against.. Defence wins flags.

Premiership Coach Simon Goodwin extends until 2024
Good result for both parties
-
Christian Salem - Straight back to the backline or something different?
Distributing the ball from the back half is a key to our success Bowey was recruited to add to Salem's ball use

What They Are Saying at Moorabbin
Saints will surely struggle after that game in FNQ ..

Mark Robinson - AFL Coaches Wellbeing
And yet Goodwin suffered under too much pressure as he himself has admitted.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill
Curious as to why. He had 11 possessions? 5tackles was certainly good..

Tom McDonald 200th game this week?
Very under-appreciated for his pack busting, gut-running and swing man capabilities. So much of his work goes unnoticed by many on here. But he takes a gorilla backman each week and plays a vital role for us. Outstanding story of perseverance and not throwing the toys out of the pram when he was told to look elsewhere. Instead knuckling down and working on deficiencies in his game. Thoroughly deserves his 200 games and his premiership. Congratulations Tom.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill
