A significant number of our goals come from defence. You need people that can distribute accurately. Salem and Bowey are perfect. They won't be moving.

So they try to maintain possession switch play, do short kicks and wait until their fwds get back to man up ur defence. Our game has been built around springboarding from defence so when we get even numbers it is harder for us to play our game. Last night we had 1 or two shots on goal from the corridor. Except this seems exactly how we are playing. We are losing clearances regularly and creating our scoring opportunities from defence. We are often 1 down at stoppages as if we are happy to concede them. Oppo clearances are rarely out the front though and are almost always sideways or 'dirty' - meaning f50 entries are shallow and easier to defend... At least that is my observation....
