  1. I agree, and this is a common mistake with footy watchers. A defender's success can't be measured on how accurate their opponent kicks. Riewoldt also ran off him quite a bit and set up some goals. I still thought Frawley did alright though
  2. RE: Neeld's "3 or 4 year plan" remark, it has a certain sense of de ja vu. I just hope this trend doesn't continue until I'm dead: Coach 1: We have a 3 or 4 year plan 3 years later...coach gets sacked. Coach 2: We have a plan over 3 or 4 years 3 years later...coach gets sacked. Coach 3: In a few years we'll be at the right level 3 years later...coach gets sacked. Several coaches later... I'm 95 years old and on my death bed when I've heard we've just lost in the Grand final to the New Zealand Rabbits by 1 point at the CMCG (The first C stands for Coke)
  3. It's definitely our most winnable game until we play GWS and the Dogs don't play often at the MCG, it'll be an ugly game but they'll probably just get over the line because they'll want it more
  4. Seriously, is it really a big deal? If Energy Watch is still on MFC apparel may as well have a laugh about it or ignore it. Not try and cover it up like its nazi paraphernalia. We know what's happened. We know not to use Energy Watch's services (I wouldn't have anyway even if the guy didn't turn out to be a lunatic). They're just two words. What's more important is that our team watches its energy on field.
  5. Once we get Sylvia and Moloney back we'll have some speed from stoppages..although Moloney was shocking in Round 1. Plus we also have Gysberts, once we have those three back in the side our midfield will look a lot stronger. McKenzie doesn't seem to be as damaging as last year, and Trengove seems out of touch too. I still think our midfield has potential
  6. Martin, Bate and Morton all out. Maybe Tom McDonald too. With Sellar and Clark in the side we don't need Martin, plus he's in terrible form. Give Davey one more go. I'm not happy with a lot of other players too but I can't see how we can drop them all. Give Couch a shot, as well as Petterd and bring back Tynan and/or Blease
  7. Why tank again????? At least it did something for the Blues. Look where we are now. We just need to harden the [censored] up and not kick in to the exact same place like we did today. And we need some leadership
  8. 6. Jeremy Howe- Flew all over the ground taking mark after mark and kicked 2, made a couple of errors early but played his best game for the club, good signs. 5. Mitch Clark- Presented well and looked dangerous but made a couple of STUPID errors in front of goal 4. Jack Watts- Faded out of the game but took a few fantastic marks early and was vital when we actually had a chance 3. Jared Rivers- Did some nice defensive work 2. James Frawley- Likewise to Rivers, held Riewoldt to a goal but Riewoldt was still pretty infleuntal. Needs to improve his kicking and decision making in defence 1. James Sellar- Took a strong mark or two and did better than i thought. Jones was alright, probably our best midfielder. Magner was disappointing, 9 possessions??? And I didn't rate Trengove at all yeah he kicked 2 goals but they were both in the last quarter when the game was over and he was very quiet before three quarter time. Him and Grimes must lift as I haven't seen much leadership from them let alone form.
  9. He's certainly looked down in the first two games of this year, as he did for the 2nd half of last year (after he got injured). Still gets plenty of hitouts, but doesn't have the impact he did in 2010 when he was taking ripping contested marks all around the ground and kicking goals. I'd love to see Clark do some of the rucking
  10. Two actually, Hankook and Kaspersky (Last time I saw him anyway)
  11. He seems to be getting better every game, to be honest. I've hardly seen any bad in any of his games this year
  12. Should he stay, Scully for sure. Trengove, McKenzie and Gysberts will all be top-class midfielders by then, and looking at Jack Watts on Sunday he will be playing like that consistently in 5 years. Frawley and Grimes will be also be as prolific as Scarlett and Enright are for the Cats down back
  13. I agree! lately it has stuffed up my computer, I only thought it was just me, like when i went those Earth tremors back in 2009. I do use internet explorer though, but that never seemed to be a problem before
  14. Did Casey win? And which Demons players played for them today?
  15. Scully and Trengove will win 3 Brownlows between them.
  16. I'd love to see a 'Guts' line when the teams are released. LOL
  17. Newton it is. http://twitter.com/AFL
  18. And by the way, comparing a Dual brownlow medallist and premiership player to nostril discharge is a bit rough i think
  19. Who cares, Goodes had a massive game, kicked 4 goals last year and we still won by 73 points. P.S I wasn't at that game cos I was on a date with a girl. The date was fun although I regret not being there for our big win
  20. I'm expecting at least 2 wins- probably against Sydney and Brisbane, perhaps Gold Coast. If we lose to GC that will be their first victory and probably their only one for the year
  21. And Maric just kicked another. 3 to 12
  22. From twitter: DemonsHQ Great work at the stoppage by Watts who gave the quick hands to Maric for the Dees first. Melb 1.0.6 to Haw 0.2.2
  23. Haha I love it how he has an interview on the footy show tonight about how he's realised his problems and stuff- and then he stuffs up again. Fevola is finished now I reckon
