  1. I have a friend that seen the boys today at the Casey pool. I asked her how they looked, and apparantly they are all hot. Sorry I cant give you any more than that. Hopefully another Demonlander was there to give us a better report. Cheers for your efforts regardless bhima.
  2. Other teams have also gone through it. North have not had a good run lately, Freo also. Bombers are still waiting on Gumbleton, Max Baily has had a shocking time at Hawthorn. It is just unlucky at times. I would also be waiting on word from the club before we get carried away. I know it doesn't sound good, but I make a general rule to not listen to anything much of what triple Eddie has to say.
  3. I noted Trengove in a chace down the Southern wing on Sunday. He was never going to catch whomever, (cant remember), but he had fantastic endeaver, and he seemed to be making some good ground. My initial impression was that he looked quick.
  4. I think that his injury being arm/ chest related, he has no doubt still been doing a lot of work in other areas. I think thart if his injury is right then he will be good to go, 100%. and who really cares what we call him, just as long as he is alright to play, I might call him Jesus from now on. " Tapscott as 'Mr.T'." - i'm stealing this one too. I like it
  5. Has anyone heard any more about this. I heard it also on 7 but it seems odd that the news is nowhere else to be found. Ch 7 surely dont just pull things out of their backside did they?
  6. Perfectly said. The midfield is key. And hopefully Jamar can give us this advantage, as he is our advantage if we can use it well.
  7. Just ordered mine in Navy. If you type "Air Jurrah T-shirt" in google it gives links to here, Demonology and Pistol clothing in the first three search results. I think once there is a few about, it wont be hard for anyone to find out where to buy from. Great work CB.
  8. Curious to know if next weeks game being Sunday twilight, will that impact on people going to the game? I for one was looking forward to going, but am now only 50-50, because of this fixture. (I get up at 3 a.m on the Monday.)
  9. Tappy may get the votes due to Heppell having the expectancy from most to go well for whole year.(therefore nominate him on another week). The general football public may not realize how good Tappy is, and so he may get the chocolates on the basis that he may not have to many big weeks. But we no better, dont we.. (special nod to Roost it). not sure this makes sense. sorry
  10. If Frawley is fit, then MacDonald make way. Would do the same with Gysberts for Jones. Then make Gys the sub and start Petterd on the ground. I am a fan of Jones, but he was ordinary yesterday. If he does play, he really needs to show something. Is there any chance Martin could go with Roughead?
  11. Petterd sub response He doesnt really sound as unhappy as the article tries to say, but... I am also not a fan of this new rule. I get the feeling that if a player from any side is often made the sub, they will become frustrated, and maybe start to have doubts about their role in the side. Cannot be good to spend a large chunk of the game watching your fellow team mates run around. I do not understand the idea behind the rule at all. It is stupid. I do think that Petterd was maybe a little underdone, and in future he will not be used in this role. At least I hope not.
  12. 6. Jack Grimes 5. Brent Maloney 4. Jack Trengove 3. Jamie Bennell 2. Mark Jamar 1. Luke Tapscott
  13. My vote for post of the year. I like it. + Grimes = Frank. (reference to a Simpsons episode)
  14. I will be getting on. My only worry is Chris Judd. I think he has 14 votes already.
  15. How did Shane Crawford get in. He must be a closet Demon fan.
  16. Cheers. I have joined. "The Dee Team"
  17. B: Bartram MacDonald Garland HB: Rivers Grimes Bennell Centres: Davey Jones Green HF: Watts Petterd Dunn F: Jurrah Maric Howe R: Jamar Maloney Sylvia Bench: Bail Trengove Martin Sub:Bate I think if we take them on in the way that we smashed them last year, then players like Bennell, Maric and Bail will be important, and coul have a big game. Then I have included Howe to give us heaps of forward options which they may struggle with, as I think they are missing some of their better defenders. It will all be for naught if we cant compete in the middle, so Jones and Maloney must be competetive. Also would change Trengove for Jetta if Trengove has any doubts.
  18. Callan Ward from the Dogs. Just done it.
  19. Good luck to Buckley. Could turn out to be a good get for the pies. They have a few injuries in their backline. He will need to make it count before the likes of Maxwell and Reid return. Who in our current list would he replace? I still think we made the right call.
  20. “Jordie has experienced an increase in groin pain due to pubic overload syndrome,” Maybe i'm just imature, but that sounds funny.
  21. This is the one I want to happen the most. Joeboy: Keepup good work
  22. Mine look ok. However I do think they seem to have taken a slide in quality over the last couple years. On my car, they seem to fade pretty quickly. They used to last until the next year and still looked good. Not a big deal, just interested to know if they have a new supplier.
  23. This is why Nathan Buckley is a massive call for the Pies. Especialy if Mick takes a walk to another club as well. With our luck he will turn out to be fantastic, but geez it would be great to see this decision go pear shaped. You might be able to add M.Voss to that list too soon.
  24. Good thread. We need to work out the totals at the end. 1. Jamar 2. Frawley 3. Sylvia 4. Davey 5. Jurrah 6. Green 7. Garland 8. Grimes 9. McKenzie 10. Petterd Based on most important to the side, not best ability.
  25. I think they just said on SEN that Fev is now going to talk with Frankston. I know he had not yet signed at Casey, but I thought it was pretty much a done deal. Fevola - Frankston
