I'm sorry but Chris Pelchen is the day before yesterday's news. He's been riding the coattails of his success at Hawthorn for nearly 15 years now. If you look at how he did at the Saints, you could interpret that he got rather lucky when at the Hawks (or was simply in the right place at the right time). Some people just fail to accept that time has passed them by.

Doubt it. Looking at salary cap rules, in 2022 the cap limit will be $13.54m spread across a list. If only looking at the 40 spot main list that equates to $338,500 per player. If what ET is true, then we would only be able to afford to keep a list of just over 20 players (heck even at 500k we'd only be able to afford 27 players). Sure Frost provides something we genuinely lack, but his weaknesses (which are more often than not detrimental) should indicate his true worth to us in the scheme of managing our overall list.

Agree. We need to abolish academies all together. Swans chose to move up to Sydney, AFL & GWS chose to have a team based their too, all the picks in the world don't seem to be helping GC & the Lions weren't complaining back in the early 2000's when they were dominating.

It might just be me, but i feel that Weids doubts his own ability. Someone at the club needs to sit him down a continually show him his games in the finals last year. He sure as [censored] has the ability, time for him to truly believe in himself, step out of his passive shadow and become the assertive forward we saw in September last year.
