  1. Nothing. But it won't happen. Dare i say it, i reckon the AFL would've ticked off Harley and us already associating with one another, just not in the public eye.
  2. Another saviour hasn't shown his face now for over 2000 years, 12 months is nothing SL ?
  3. Really hoping it works out for him. Both Harley and the MFC can do with a bit of good fortune.
  4. Possibly there at our pick 8, so doesn't surprise me.
  5. Cale Morton is also a former Larke medallist, as is Josh Shache, David Swallow and Andrew Hooper. Means squat in terms of making the grade in the AFL.
  6. Another way of saying he has huge potential. I hate the 'p' word. A fancy way of saying what could be and not what is. We have had very few success stories recently with regards to developing that potential into actual talent. Jackson is far too raw for my liking.
  7. The way Jackson is supposedly rocketing up the so called draft boards, here’s hoping GCS take him with pick 2!
  8. Jackson will almost be undersized if he went into the ruck (unless he grows significantly), and up forward his kicking would make him a liability at accuracy (like Casboult). He does a few things ok, but masters none, whilst displaying the dreaded word of potential (another way of saying he hasn’t achieved it yet). Bring in players with already established qualities.
  9. Agree that Emma Quayle is sorely missed. I'm not much of a Kevin Sheehan fan either.
  10. Twomey is a poor man's Matt Burgan. When Matt vacated the AFL drafting gig for a stint at the Dees, the AFL handed the reigns to the work experience boy.
  11. What the hell are you doing with a Essendrug mate, wwsw?
  12. Gotta agree Roy, anything better than 17th and we've done well. lol
  13. My old man was good friends with him, told him many a time he would’ve played, nothing would’ve stopped him.
  14. If we'd have made it through to the granny in 87, he would've played. He was emphatically on record with this.
  15. There has been none better for the MFC ever since Robbie. And dare i say only a handful before him. Dad turned up to every game during the dark 70's and 80's years. The only reason he did was to go and watch Robbie play. Unfortunately i was too young to remember. God we could do with him in the team now.
  16. I would've thought it would be the same as this years. Seems odd going into a new season with the same jumper
  17. I'm not interested in drafting a bloke who pleasured both a horse and an elephant
  18. Actually the tigerboys did pretty well this year Picket, won the A-grade netball, reserve and senior footy premierships. As for Fishy, with Johnny Danckert coaching the Roos next year, we ain't gonna need Brent off-field, as for on-field.........ha.
  19. Shades of Mick Turner by Sumich here, I just don't see anything overly special about Jackson. And that kicking action really has me worried from a KPF point of view. Pass.
  20. Agree, Bring in Young & Kemp (or whoever we value @ pick 8). Though i would just about spew if Carlscum were able to not only do a shifty by bringing in Martin, then also get kissed on the d##k and be able to draft Kemp @ 9.
  21. Jack Martin has attracted 10 times the amount of headlines through this dummy spit episode of wanting to get to Carlton, compared to his entire playing career. Talk about melodramatic. Avoid. I'm happy with Bennell, someone who wants to be at the club.
  22. Would be hilarious if he turns out to be the best pick of the draft in a few years time. Would pretty much signify that everything anyone ever knew about drafting could be thrown out the window, lol
  23. Grundy, Mihochek (though Brody) and Brodie Holland a few years back.
