CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Zero chance JVR got picked anyway even if he was available. Throwing kids to the wolves who arenāt ready was so 2009. If we need a break-glass forward, Mitch Brown will play. Itās what heās on the list for and heās been in form.

Iām not letting Brown off the hook that easily. Yeah our forward connection was poor - so what, it often is, but normally he can take marks leading up, bring the ball to ground and just generally add physical presence. Tonight he added absolutely nothing whatsoever. Iām a fan of his, but performances like that canāt be accepted.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Out: Melksham, May (, Dunstan) In: Harmes, McDonald (defence) BBB was worst on ground. While he has credits and is obviously important, that was way below par. Mitch Brown should be under consideration.

Yeah, we only lost to s*** sides. Thatās much better!

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
We were comprehensively outplayed by a very good team, with one of our best and most crucial players injured in the first quarter, and his key lieutenant also playing hurt. If that's how we go down then so be it - I'd prefer that than being beaten by a pus side because of our own inaccuracy or something like that. It's why it's so important to break away and bank wins whenever you can, because there will be times when you can't. We had to taste defeat again eventually. Still tastes like poo; one serve of victory next week please.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Looking forward to see how we respond. Haven't been so comprehensively smashed in a quarter like that since round 23 against Geelong last year. Game is far from over yet.

Kent Kingsley wasn't a spud and Michael Walters definitely isn't either.

TEAMS: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Iām surprised people are losing confidence with TMac out. Sure heās been good recently, but a month ago he was out of the best 22 (and the player who has replaced him was in it) and we were fine.

TEAMS: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
It surprises me a bit* that Melbourne supporters, who watch us play every week, struggle with the concept that Melksham and Dunstan arenāt competing for the same spot in the team. *not at all

Kangaroos Hopping Mad after Triple Walk Out
Lol, I missed a key line in that post. Oh well, Iāll leave my post there. Hopefully my failure to read lightens someoneās day š

Kangaroos Hopping Mad after Triple Walk Out
Just what we (Tasmania) have been asking for, a complete basket case of a club, that nobody wants to play for and now, it seems, work for, is anchored to the bottom and has an overall brand we donāt identify with. Sign me up now!!

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
He started getting called Plugger on here after his hot streak in 2018. It reached its peak with the over the shoulder kick to nab the game against West Coast over in Perth. Itās an ironic term of endearment. I donāt believe anyone actually thinks Tom McDonald is as good as Tony Lockett.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Canāt speak for Werridee but I just assumed he was out given he was subbed off. If they mentioned once on the broadcast why Langdon went off, I certainly didnāt hear it.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Harmes was 2-3 apparently. Melk a lock for #200. I thought Dunstan was pretty good defensively but sloppy with the ball.

NON-MFC: Round 10, 2022
How good was that Richmond ceremony. More of that please.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Thatās a rough assessment. Heās untidy with the ball, which is why he isnāt best 22, but heāll play whenever Viney canāt.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
They threw everything at us for 3 quarters and we pulled further ahead each time. The dam wall broke at the end. Enjoyable game, just loving watching this team.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Yep. If I was a North supporter Iād be happy with that quarter. They put in. I said it last week that there are no bad teams, only teams that canāt sustain effort and North are one of them. Thereās still plenty of time for the lapse to come and for us to skip away.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
The main thing I love about about this team is even when teams bring their best heat, they still canāt score. Northās absolute best, which they wonāt be able to sustain, sees them 10 points behind and it should be more. Loving that Gawn and TMac have gone the sleeves in the Narrm strip in addition to the usual suspects. Looks great.

The intro from Kozzie on Fox gave me goosebumps. I could run through a brick wall. Go Narrm.

NON-MFC: Round 10, 2022
If every team would pay it, itās not overs, itās just his worth. (Because I know what you were looking for was some pedant to nitpick on a single line of your post š)

Viney Hamstring Soreness
Indeed, given the description was āhamstring awarenessā, it sounds more precautionary than anything.
-
Viney Hamstring Soreness
On your first paragraph, you are way overthinking it. The most simple explanation is Melksham is the player most suited to the role Harmes plays, and Dunstan is the player most suited to the role Viney plays. I reckon as fans, we try to make selection out to be way more complicated than it is. Selectors making last minute announcements to ākeep a player hungryā is surely not a thing.

TEAMS: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Didnāt miss a beat with Dunstan in last time. Itās an awesome to be in a position where weāve got AFL quality backups ready to go on every line.
