This West Coast team is outrageously feeble. Hard to believe what I’ve seen from them in the last two weeks. Just terrible.
-
To be fair, the effects on people widely vary. On balance of probabilities you’d think extremely fit and healthy men in their 20s are likely to recover quicker than most.
-
Same. It flattened me. I’m over a month out now and I’m still not fully right. ItS oNlY a CoLd tHoUgH

3 of the 4 ins were best 22 players two weeks ago. It’s a very strong side still, we’ll be fine. Fingers crossed the boys with COVID recover quickly, and no more unpleasant surprises.

How good a player has Bayley Fritsch become? His two goals broke the game open. He had a pretty “quiet” game but could still easily have had 5 - he was rarely inaccurate (2.2) and gave one off to Petracca. I can’t think of a player who does more damage with such a low disposal count in our team.

That’s just typical over the top footy fan pessimism. Identifying every minor hurdle as a completely insurmountable task is par for the course. The weekly Demonland mass suicide was the same right up until late last year, it didn’t seem to matter how bad we ACTUALLY were. Hell, there are people on this site complaining about our form now, with 13 wins on the trot, one of which was a grand final.

That makes me feel sick. To me that’s a deeply personal moment. If it were me, I’d prefer to be filmed in the shower over that (maybe I shouldn’t give the broadcasters ideas). Scrap the cameras in the rooms immediately.

Yep, I said a few weeks ago that sooner or later we’ll come up against a team that fancies itself against us, and that I hope it’s Hawthorn. Fingers crossed they win today and come in to our game with their tails up.
-
If it’s the one I’m thinking of, umpire called it touched. Might not have been obvious from the ground because of the noise - Fritsch himself seemed to be lining up for the set shot initially.
-
If Sydney win today I’d say yes.
-
Yep. Watching Richmond last night for me was a reminder though that dominant eras come to an end eventually. Gotta make the most of this while it lasts.

And his comeback is still 3-4 weeks off according to the AFL app. You’d play Tommo before resorting to an L plater anyway.
-
Yep. I thought Dunstan was fine, even good, but that’s the pecking order. I thought Smith was okay too other than that one Very Joel Smith moment that we won’t talk about any further.

Out: Dunstan, Smith In: Viney, Lever

Make no mistake, that was an annihilation. Unbelievably frustrating to watch though. Moving on.

3.12 We’ll finish the game 15.14 😁
-
That’s rough I think. Intensity is right up - other than the last few minutes the ball was played totally in our half. Just not taking opportunities.
-
Well I got that wrong. Far out. Game should be out of Richmond’s reach. One of those half time resets would be great thanks Goody.
-
We won’t be that inefficient going forward in the rest of the game. Scoreboard flatters our opposition a lot. Dunstan fitting right in, really good so far. Indicative of the strength of our list that we can lose Viney and have a replacement just slot right in.

First time I’ve been nervous all year. Let’s go!
-
Pleased TMac was able to get a few kicks. I’m supportive of him being dropped, but I’m also a fan and hope he is able to keep the heat on Brown and Weid.
-
While technically true, I’d say that game doesn’t count. Brown was hardly going at that stage, and was actually dropped after it.
-
I was impressed too, they look polished across the ground. Definitely a top 4 contender in my view.
