Demonstone's Guide To Posting On Gameday Threads
True. I'm totally over "Peptides", "Essendrug", "Meth Coast" and "Filth". And the teeth jokes. Boring. Be like Clarry ... be decent, nice and give them a hand up!

Demonstone's Guide To Posting On Gameday Threads
Down by two goals in the 1st quarter: "We lost it at the selection table"

NON-MFC: Round 16, 2022
Then in the last quarter they called a 20-metre kick in the Saints backline "not 15". Sometime they'll end up putting a grid on the field to help adjudicate it because the umpires' estimations are so bad. The goalposts are 7m apart, so it's only twice that plus a metre.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
The only show I can tolerate is On The Couch, and solely because of Brown and Riewoldt.
-
NON-MFC: Round 16, 2022
They ended up 18-15 in favour of the Lions, but at half time they were 14-7.

Perth and the Eastern States are in the same country.

NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
What a shocking decision the free kick to Dunkley was.

My 3 word player analysis v Lions
I think Bedford deserved better than "some party tricks".

De Goey is the New Story
Collingwood has their "Do Better" response to racism. They need a "Do Better" response to women.
-
NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
The Saints played a very average game. What's worse is that Essendon just kicked 107 points against them.

Bailey Smith is the New Story
Here's something to observe then ... go to any major alcohol retailer (e.g. Dan Murphy, BWS) or specialty retailer and search on "non-alcoholic". There are dozens now being promoted and non-alcoholic drinks are becoming increasingly popular. There's non-alcoholic bars springing up in Melbourne. It's a health or "wellness" thing to reduce alcohol consumption.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Sydney
And with well-managed recovery, training intensity and some match simulation in training, it's not as though Salem is throwing away his crutches and going straight to half back.

Taylor Walker
At 194cm not tall enough. 🙂

2022 Free Kick Differential
So Richmond aren't a good team and play a lot more from behind then?

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Paul Roos prime performance metrics were percentage and points against. When he took over at the end of our dreadful 2013, our percentage was 54.1% and our average points against was 122. By 2016, this had improved to 102% and 88. Now it's 161.7% and 58. With a 10-0 record, it's hard to see how we are "underperforming". We are doing exactly what we need to be doing.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Charlie Curnow at 192cm has just kicked 14 goals in three weeks, including two bags of 6.

Dees as the Yardstick
Only if we do the hard metres, put kilometres into our legs, have a gram of luck, centimetre closer to a win, watch the kilojoules and go the whole 8.23 metres.

Day Grand Final 2022
Personally I like twilight. Great atmosphere towards the end (lighting, fireworks, sunset etc.), and still not too late for me to travel the 1½ hours back home to the country. I thought the 2021 GF was great timewise (and not just because we won). Quite happy to go with the majority public sentiment though.

TEAMS: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Melbourne is so boringly good now that even the team changes on Thursday night are ho-hum.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs West Coast
And they're all yet to play us. 😊

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
The basic Kayo subscription is $25 per month for one stream. The premium is $35 for three streams. The streams can be on any devices. I've got the premium with my two adult children, so we just organise to pay ~$11.67 each between us.

Ben Brown 150 games
Well done Ben Brown. He has improved our side. I still wonder why he doesn't have to bounce the ball once in his run-in for goal to avoid being pinged for a "travel". 😄

2022 Injury List
They're taking height to the max.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
It's not a limiting factor for Fritsch, who is 188cm. And only 84kg.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
JVR is 1cm shorter than Josh Kennedy (700 goals), 2cm shorter than Jack Riewoldt (731 goals) and 3cm shorter than Jeremy Cameron (491 goals). Look at the thickness of your thumb, that's about 2cm. Do you think that makes the difference between a forward who makes it and one who doesn't?
