  1. 'Tracking the right way’: Demons confident of Pickett deal
  2. If I were pedantic, I'd say there were 7 over 200cm, 12 over 195cm and 18 over 190cm. 😄
  3. Go back to the beginning in 1865 and Albert Park would have two premierships.
  4. Why does this review think we'll lose to Richmond in Round 6 (Anzac Eve)?

It's not soccer per se. Billions of the world's population like it and follow it. I don't quite get it either, but that's not a reason to dismiss it. The situation the other night was some angry testosterone-driven males protesting about something they didn't like (shifting finals to Sydney) and resorting to violence. Whether soccer promotes that is a good question, as it has a history. As a society I just think we are becoming angrier about things we don't like. Read the newspapers or media and there are constant stories about anger. They promote it for click bait. The fact there's even a political party named the Angry Victorians is a good indication of where we are heading. The world needs a chill pill. Or a genetic program to remove the aggressive gene. Or let women run the world for the next hundred years.

Was the 2-2 goal scoreline in the AFLW GF "boredom"?
  7. Put us down for the next 6 premierships at this rate. 😊
  8. Let's hope you ain't seen nothin' yet.
  9. Training with the club.
  10. How to rank the draft: Give every club that had a top 5 pick an A or A+ Give the clubs with picks 6-10 an A or B+ Give clubs with picks in the remaining first round a B or a C+ Give the clubs with picks 20-40 a C+ or C. All the rest give a D Easy.

  12. Apart from the capacity, the ground looked perfectly suitable for a match. Even the length wasn't that short, probably some metres longer than the SCG.
  13. I didn't think the venue looked anywhere near as bad as some people here made out.
  14. The PGA golf in Brisbane has just been suspended due to an incoming electrical storm.
  15. Probably the Demons have a very even spread of talent, whereas some sides have a very dominant player or two e.g. Conti, Kearney. Champion teams and all that.
  16. In 2024 two-thirds of the comp is going to be in the premiership window. Really?
  17. Probably reached good luck status by now.
  18. Agree. The lot of backline players unfortunately. Realistically you'd need to put all 18 in the best yesterday.
  19. Four goals in the last quarter, I thought they were! The weakest quarter was the 2nd. Meanwhile, their possible opponent next week, in somewhat better conditions, has kicked 0.2.2 to half time against St Kilda.
  20. Gee, windy day with some slippery conditions and people are blaming Daisy for her last-minute choice and missing a pin-point pass. Winning by 80 or so was always a huge task and they only just missed it. C'est la vie.
  21. Giving Ross Lyon the job would get him away from yelling on TV.
  22. Gary Ablett Snr would be proud of a highlights reel like that.
  23. Cringe TikTok account is a tautology.
  24. Don't think Grundy has had a bun for about 2 years, has he?
