  1. Been waiting 56 minutes now...😔 Hopefully I get through eventually. I agree that it would of made sense to have the days separate to purchase tickets for each of the Qualifying Finals.
  2. I didn't know this! Pleasantly surprised!!! These guys are hilarious! 😅🤣😂 Here is a YouTube video confirming this with an interview with Christian Petracca.
  3. Gotta focus on being able to overcome the Swans first in our upcoming Qualifying Final at the MCG in two weeks time. As the old saying goes....gotta beat the best to be the best. GO DEMONS!
  4. I was just wondering if anybody would possibly know what the ticket prices might be for the Qualifying Final? 🤔
  5. Zorko really is a horrible scumbag. Anyway, as far as both clubs are concerned this matter has been resolved. Time to move on and focus on the finals.
  6. I still have doubts over Jayden Hunt's disposal at times. But at the moment he deserves to keep his spot. Christian Salem back in to replace Jake Bowey when he has recovered from being sore.
  7. One of my mates who barracks for Essendon said that they have turned into a cult. He hates Adrian "Dodo" Dodoro and thinks that bringing back James Hird is delusional. I said he is more than welcome to change clubs and barrack for Melbourne if he likes? Unfortunately he hasn't taken me up on that offer. 🤣 Anyway, I agree with others that if Adem Yze ends up at GWS or Essendon (preferably after this year's AFL finals) that I wouldn't mind the Demons considering Ben Rutten coming to us as an assistant coach.
  8. Well....it looks like the Demons Vs the Swans at the MCG in the Qualifying Final. This will be a huge game! Hope as many Melbourne supporters as possible can attend! GO DEMONS!!! 🔴🔵👹
  9. I am probably putting my neck on the line but I am quietly confident Clayton Oliver may win the Brownlow medal this year. I am certainly not a gambling man though. As I know Christian Petracca, Angus Brayshaw, Jack Viney and Max Gawn will get plenty of Brownlow votes too. Obviously, Clayton and the rest of the Demons players want more Premiership medallions. That should be the number one priority. But nevertheless, it would be wonderful if Melbourne had another Brownlow medallist and break the 22 year drought since Shane Woewodin won the Brownlow back in 2000.
  10. Really hope Blake Howes plays well today. He is an exciting prospect for the Demons!
  11. The Demons players are fired up for the finals! A bit of a "Wolf of Wallstreet" theme going on here! 😂🤣😅😆 https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSRBnushx/ GO THE MIGHTY DEMONS!!!
  12. Great game! Kozzie a brilliant first half! Fritta all class! Neal-Bullen's projectile vomit was like a scene from the exorcist! Dane Zorko's nasty personal comments to Harry Petty that upset him were pointless and didn't help the Lions one bit. Anyway, a fantastic win by the Demons! Onto the finals!
  13. Christian Petracca....probably a chef according to his Tik-Tok channel? 🤔 https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSRBrSoo4/ Although I wouldn't mind him spending an extra hour a day practising his goal kicking at the local footy oval.
  14. Cannot stand Caroline Wilson! 😡 Bring back the Footy Show with Sam Newman! Hahahahahaha! 🤣😅😂
  15. Quite a pleasant surprise to see Lynden Dunn in this Tik-Tok video. Great to see him wearing a Demons scarf! He did play 165 games for the Melbourne Football Club after all! https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSRkVKqA3/ Was a bit of a cheeky comment by Lynden to that Jordan bloke from Melbourne Fan TV but having said that I wouldn't be able to be runner at the club either. 😂😅🤣
  16. I am still going to keep bugging the MFC board until this project has been completed. We cannot let up on this issue. Every other AFL club has a home base but us! It is an absolute disgrace and must be rectified! Collingwood had Victoria Park and now Olympic Park with its multi-million dollar administration and training base known as the Holden Centre. Carlton have Princes Park. Richmond have Punt Road Oval. Which is getting an $85 million dollar upgrade I think? Western Bulldogs have Whitten Oval and another upcoming training base in the Western suburbs of Melbourne which is getting paid for with Government money. Geelong have Kardinia Park or whatever it is called now? GMHBA stadium? Hawthorn had Glenferrie Oval, currently Waverley Park in Mulgrave and will have a massive new multi-million dollar ($50 million?) home base being built in Dingley. I drove past it over the weekend and it is a massive piece of land! Essendon have Windy Hill and Essendon Fields known as "the Hangar" which is a huge multi-million dollar facility. North Melbourne have Arden Street Oval. St. Kilda had Junction Oval, the Moorabbin Oval, then Seaford and are now back at Moorabbin Oval. Whereas our club, the Melbourne Demons are basically AFL nomads. Our spiritual home is the MCG but we cannot even train there. We were temporarily at Junction Oval for over 20 years. Then we moved to Gosch's Paddock after Collingwood had the Holden Centre at Olympic Park completed. We also have Casey Fields in Cranbourne East which has been wonderful for us. The MCG sized training oval there has been wonderful for us. Nevertheless, we still need a place to combine both our administration, training and a social club. Let's hope this can be done by the MFC board in the next 5 to 10 years. Getting our home base completed will be almost as significant as winning a Premiership as we will finally have a place that property belongs to the Melbourne Demons. While breaking our Premiership drought of 57 years has been the ultimate achievement. We will judge the current MFC board on whether or not they can achieve this incredibly significant task of a home base.
  17. Was thinking that the best option would be relocating North Melbourne to Tasmania perhaps? Hobart Kangaroos? Anyway, I guess we shall wait and see what happens. I do think there should be a Tasmanian team in the AFL eventually. Money is the issue unfortunately.
  18. I honestly would be extremely surprised if this happened. From my understanding Toddy Viney is enjoying retirement up on his farm in country Victoria. I also think Todd Viney wants to see another Premiership or two won by the Melbourne Demons at the MCG (this time). I cannot see Todd Viney making a comeback to AFL ranks but you can never say never.
  19. An outrageous outcome. Protecting a player should overrule rough play. But oh well...this is up to the AFL to deal with these ridiculous inconsistencies at the tribunal. As for our beloved Melbourne Demons we can only beat who is in front of us. If Cripps is now playing then so be it. You need to beat the best to be the best.
  20. I still haven't given up hope that Luke Jackson will re-sign to the Demons for another 2 years. He will then end up at West Coast and replace Nic-Nat. Anyway, fingers crossed he can play in another Melbourne Demons Premiership first.
  21. Last time we took a former Collingwood ruckman in Peter Moore he won a (2nd) Brownlow for the Melbourne Football Club back in 1984. However, unless Brodie Grundy has recuperated from his injuries and learns to kick goals I don't think he is worth the risk. Let Port Adelaide have him.
  22. After a few days of seething in anger I have (finally) recuperated from our loss to Collingwood. It really was a game we should of won. What annoys me the most about Collingwood isn't even their players. I can have begrudging respect for some of the Magpies players. It is the numerous amount of vile, disgusting, obnoxious and arrogant Collingwood supporters that there are and the fact that they still think the Melbourne Football Club are a joke to them. Getting stuck on the train carriage full of them on the way home from the MCG is never a pleasant experience. I have always had the view of quality over quantity when it comes to Melbourne Demons supporters. In many ways being reigning 2021 AFL Premiers didn't do much except give them more reason to ridicule us when we lose. Getting beaten by them twice so far this season has really sucked. I am definitely hopeful we can enact revenge upon them in the finals. Anyway, I hate Collingwood and I look forward to the days when we can begin beating them again on a regular basis.
  23. There's only so many jokes about "going on holidays to the snow" that I can take from Collingwood Supporters. I personally haven't been to the snow in well over 15 years! Best to just laugh off any comments said. Collingwood Supporters certainly like to dish out the insults and banter but if you dare to do the same back it can often lead to violent altercations. So always have your wits about you if you think a fight is going to start. Some Collingwood Supporters have a history of thuggery. Stay safe all those going tomorrow night.
  24. Would of preferred Ed Langdon to be a bit more humble. Let our actions do the talking. Anyway, it will definitely be a very tough and exciting game tomorrow night. I genuinely despise Collingwood and their feral supporters. I encourage as many Melbourne supporters as possible to show up! GO DEMONS!!!
  25. Angus Brayshaw now a Demon for life! Let's hope he obtains a few more Premiership medallions for the Melbourne Football Club! ON YA ANGUS! GO DEMONS!!!
