Stretch Vince and Lewis not up to it.

It is not the count, it is the decisions. In which other game, ever, would the bump by ANB in the middle EVER has resulted in a free kick downfield? Have been more even in the second Q.

BT is a fat [censored] sucking tugger. What is all this Liam Jones [censored]?

So do I. Probably the greasy pile of muck I just ate to put a layer under the beer.

Every game is 'season defining'. Teams are roosters and feather dusters every other week. Craziest season of football. dees have to keep winning. Find a way, boys.

Work has me in QLD on Sunday arvo. Any recommendations of a good pub at Southport or Gold Coast (hopefully demon-centric) to watch it would be greatly appreciated!

No, only JT needs to be told what he needs to improve on. Members are less 'entitled' than they think they are....

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 16
buck_nekkid replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would take that one point win. Carlton are not brilliant, but consistent. We are inconsistent, but when our best is on display, brilliant. Our best is going to be hard to produce with a significant number of our leaders and first 22 out. Our last game against them felt like a real struggle for us. This week: Max to rediscover some of his mojo Hunt back to the HB, to cut and carry us forward Have a forward structure, and not simply bomb it to outnumbered players. Even up the marks (been thrashed the last two weeks) and contested ball Be able to kick in after a point without it coming straight back. (i.e., dont always kick it to Max) Run, not jog. Spread like Flora, stick like Clag. I think we will have enough patches to get over the top of them, say 13 points. -
Yep. Agree these guys should be on the list.

Was no Houli. Was always going to get 6. Entitled to a defense...he pleaded guilty. Perhaps a conversation about mitigation, but suggest the club simply want to see the back of this, and are ok with Bugg getting a whack. Therefore Bugg was essentially on his own.
-
The current scenario has got me thinking: Who from the list walks straight back in when fit (as opposed to having to come back through Casey)? We have seen that Big Max gets a free pass, who else gets one too? Viney Gawn Jones Hogan ? Jetta Hunt Lewis??? Petracca??? Who is on your list?

And how do you get to a conclusion that drinking, or a drinking culture, correlates with success? The best teams in 20 years had so many other factors. I imagine that professionalism and performance were important. It is a long bow to draw. and it is not as if it was our top 6 out drinking together, it was 4 guys on the fringe. Not really 'driving the culture', but breaking standards.... they broke the standards, paid for it, now time to move on.

OK. He has done the crime, he will have to do the time. So much BS in the media dn holier than thou attitudes. It is a terrible look, and punishment will be due and paid. Once he has done his time, that should be it. No need for the moral s police. Some thoughts: If Bugg was 80 m off the ball, why was Mills scragging him and why did Bugg turn and throw the punch? Why did the umpires allow the Swans to attack players like Max and others repeatedly, with no intervention? The clowns were out of control of the game. Bugg has been on a roller coaster - the Instagram pic before the dogs game, the Hosier lane pic, now this. Hope he is getting adequate support from the club. The AFL are weak and useless. The whole Jumper punch fiasco, the way penalties at MRP are impossible to predict, the favouritism that seems to ruin decisions. The media. The biggest thugs have the biggest mouth on this. They can all go and get [censored] as far as I'm concerned. Some other really bad things need MRP scrutiny. Attacking a fallen player is perhaps a much bigger dog act than Buggs Bugg has been doing well for us, and has certainly been valuable to the team this year (perhaps he isn't best 22, but he has been in the best that we were able to get onto the park...). I hope this is not career ending for him, but a bump in the road for a member of the team. Prediction- 5 to 6 weeks. I know he doesn't have Waleed Ali, but it was a bad look (negative to his case) but Mills got up straight away (not a knockout like Houli) (positive on his case). We have had a [censored] few days. Bring on next weekend.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MITCHELL WHITE

Fair call. Would want him to get the message and show his learning at training before I picked him again. His card isn't marked, but he needs to hit targets at speed and under pressure. -

Good learning experience. Now back to Casey to build the skills to work at this level as per his potential. -
I'm sure having 'a beer' is fine. If they turn up at a recovery session still affected, then this is definitely not up to standard. I dont know, but this is what I suspect has happened. Perhaps celebrating their call ups a little early?

I like the fact that it took until after the weekend to come out. We dealt with this in house. We were firm on keeping standards even though it impacted the team at selection. This is how it should have been done. These four should be ashamed of themselves, and not only cost themselves a spot, but took our 'outs' from 8 to 12 for the game. Incredible.

Oliver would have been on earlier if Swans kicked straight. Rotations usually happen after goals, or when there is a stoppage is on the wing near the gates. The ball didn't leave their 50 for so long, that no rotation was 'possible' under the rotation rules. Players often get caught on the bench for longer stretches than planned due to this.

AFL Appeals Houli Tribunal Decision
buck_nekkid replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's a big call- why do you think so? -
Could you please share you thoughts or highlights?
