There will be no strike. Some vvanker is postulating making big noises and the kiddies are following like the Pied Piper. It will go nowhere other than an agreed payrise, whatever the AFL decides. After all the AFL bankrolls the AFLPA in the main. No other major code spends as much elsewhere on developing the game as the AFL, I'll give them that. Players been led up the path. Gate'll shut soon. Reverse bluff. Go on....go on strike... Who's first...who wants to be THAT one ?? Is a small world footy. Whoever so bold or foolish to do so will face shut doors everafter !!

The NFL doesn't look after nor promote the various projects as does the AFL. Call their bluff. Young turks with giant egos. Then instruct lil Johnny and Janey " see them...they care more about the car they drive than footy ! More about money than you" Kids big and small idolise these faux heroes but can be shown they have misplaced reverance without too much effort. There is mischief here for sure. Easy to spot the Mainchancers. Call them on it. Let them strike. ( They won't )

Two things about this..well probably more really It is Sam ...so meh....caveat emptor with anything he writes,; the expression "hit or miss" I think was coined for him. Kelly may well choose to stay( Giants ) a while and enjoy some good footy but I do note the mention of only signing (potentially ) for another 2 years ?? That's hardly a concrete commitment. That's someone biding their time and keeping all bets open. Happily welcome Kelly... Fyfe....might be more a can of worms imho.
