    Id attribute much of last week to instructions...or lack of.( Broke every rule of wet weather footy ) This week showed a bit more nouse...if a bit delayed. Got to get the right players in the right positions ( for the day ) Hopefully much was learned

    I undertook that investigation. It was actually Nathan Buckley in disguise but that #5 was a dead give away. Asked him why ? Said he had no understanding of the rules ( something we don't know ! ) , just wanted to garner some first hand tips for the lads . As he turned and left he tapped his nose in that knowing way Got QB in the bag

    This may come across as terribly sexist but it's been my observation over many years that the ladies are far more open and accommodating (sts) of alternative lifestyles. Thered be a few lads who'd want to....just not be the first in the spotlight.

    This is a form of succession. We DIDN'T have co-coaches to facilitate that did we. You had acoach in waiting. This is what should be happening now. It isn't. I find that odd and AT odds with what's been proven to work recently within the culture of the club as recently architected. Dont &$@! this up Melbourne.

    is about the only thing that makes any sense...Otherwise an absolute naff idea...for mine. I would have thought Viney as VC for a few years would do as much. I dont like it...but there's bigger fish to fry

    that hardly explains all of the occasions Billy. We were slow to adjust on many a day..There's learning...and theres losing also. You dont need to stick on someone ALL day to learn something.

    As i read it much of anyone's anticipation about St Kilda comes from the idea ( rightly or wrongly ) about trajectories of their younger players. We know only too well how misplaced and over valued this can be.

    This is an oft mooted rationale. Personally i don't see what stagnating your ability to battle on game day accomplishes other than losing .

    St Kilda are a good honest average team. A few teams will go past them in 2017. We being one of them. Some go up...they go down. Carlisle has had interupted Preseason and will start behind . ?? Marks over him for mine. Not too many putting hands up to take over mantle of their "older " brigade. There will be two types of losses for the Aints in 17. Either they are simply out gunned...or beaten in the 4th as they tire.
