Just a bit short or narrow sighted ??? We will in all likelyhood have a major sponsor ( co- ) on boaord by the start of season proper. We already have more sponsorship than ever before. We are taking the opportunity of having a bare patch on the during this interim to do some good. Its not about the money but of the ability to give back. How is promoting Reach 'resorting' to anything. Lets look beyond the field occasionally.

Thanks WJ Its interesting ( for mine ) how the whole Craig thing really came about and what is shows in terms of how this club thinks it needs to grow and what its doing to accomplish this. Im sure there will be many who will not quite see how much this holistic change of direction will benefit the club mainly as its not an overnight thing. So much oif footy is really between the ears. The club needs to foster a whole culture of the 'right' thinking right across the ranks etc. Im glad and impressed Brads taken it on the chin. I actually think he might secretly be relieved. Craig really strikes me as a real high calibre thinker. A great addition to the club. back to you WJ

I think this will be a real breakout year for 3-4 Dees. Watts being amongst them. I cant help but feel that good ol Dean was compromised and a little bit all ove rthe shop with his development of Watts. Jack was one of thefew that invariable gave as much as he could on each day , albeit with varying results, but he had a dip. He wasnt allowed to truly develop into a role as he got shipped all over the ground., somewhat out of necessity and I cant help but feel now somewhat out of panic. Hes a bit bigger, a bit wiser and even more at home in his place as an AFL player. He wil lhave serious help at the pointy end and this small relief of attention will be just what he needs to flex his stuff. An interesting year ahead

What if much of their glaring inconsistencies is derived from the fact that they simply havent the next step within them. Only a fool would not also seek counsel of those you could expect to be balanced in their views as to what anyone did or didnt do previously aswell. At various times onthese boards weve all enthused about one bloke or another.
