Been a while coming, had a few guises but could be very interesting. The knockers might want to think for a moment. "Do yo seriously think that the club(s) havent already thought of just about every relevance and condition ...already?" This isnt ..an oh..lets just pop down the road by the bridge. Theyve had years to pour all over this idea, refine it, nudge it etc.. Its very worthy of consideration.

It amazes me that anyone playing AFL couldnt kick half way decently... Youd think it was mandatory...youd think !!

My understanding ( as explained to me by someone with far too much time ) was you had to be 30 as of Spe 30 in the year of the Veteran listing. So if you turn 30 by or at 30 sep 12 you can be on the VL for 2012.

Billy et al ...the club has been quite involved in its China journey far beyong a trip and a game there. This has been going on for quite a while. I admit its off the top of my head but 6-7 ( at least ) years seems indicative. The expo game was only the culmination of quite a few years effort. If any club can claim to initialising the China connection it IS Melbourne. . I actually must apologise to Mr So as in thinking back its was during his reign as Mayor that the suggestion was made ( as he was a predominant member) thaty Melb look to the China connection. Many may not know of our esteemed connection to China, not only historically but commercially.

You know...Ive a funny feeling now that with all the miles under our belts in China ( as a club) that we actually have some idea of what to do. Bringing in So would at best be some form of Jonny come late Icing ( pun intended )

The back of the jumper got 1.9 the front will earn no less otherwise youd be asking to get the front . Stands to reason. It seems reasonable to think that 'someone; is either at the line...very very near the line, or over the line.

Chanchong seem to be at that natural take-of point for brand awareness , as were LG. What vould be worse than some maega consumer electronics mob coming on board for a 3-5 year stint at... $lots-'n'-lots !!!. We are a proven work-horse for this kiind of thing. For me...it has wings. Or is it the case the sponsor is known...the jumpers ordered but Sponsor has a specific date in mind ..for whatever reason....just speculating. !!

He wont be there on holiday...hell be making sure we're ahead of the game . Others are eyeing off our hard work like vultures ( or seagulls )

I think our backline just went up a notch !! Hes had a rollercoaster career to date but think hell grab the second chance with both reins and we migh tbe pleasantly surprised. How have we been sceaming out for a seasoned mid 20's bloke with some years ( if not games ) under his belt. Puts a bit of spice down back.. the competition for places cant hurt either. Somethiing to keep in mind, possibly is the desire...no, NEED for the GWS to seem relevant to its adopted locale. Currently it really has none and until at least it kicks one ball in anger there is no substance. So in this sense it needs to keep its name out there. Love himor hate him we was for all intents and purposes the soul of Footy at the Hun. His leaving will leave a huge void which personally I see none of the residual quite able to fill. Like any journo he got some right..and a few wrong.
