Christian Petracca - Rising Star
whatwhat say what replied to Older demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
If he starts finding a bit more of the ball then he'll get one at some stage of the year. Back to Petracca, I'm not sure just who to compare him with - he's such an aggressive, attacking player. Can't wait to see what he becomes. -
Is Tom McDonald tradable at the end of 2016?

He is still clearly our best tall defender.- 176 replies

think he's going to be a very, very good player. -
Pretty exciting. Don't discount both Kennedy and Harmes. Both are very important and the latter has been seriously impressive.
-
That sounds like an awful thing to have. Hopefully he recovers with no ongoing effect. It does seem sometimes like we just find new and exciting ways of not having players play for us.
-
Robbie was always going to get off - he's one of the chief Charlie fancies! Same as Fyfe last year.
-
he's a legend. i reckon he'd be just about 'first selected' every week (primarily as he's starting back pocket - B: Jetta....)

The youngest most inexperienced side
whatwhat say what replied to bandicoot's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's nuts how young and inexperienced we are. -
wouldn't go near pickett or wh-e. can't understand the hard-on that people have for marchbank at all; he looks similar to jaksch and plowman to me, where he's just that little bit undersized to be a key back at afl level, and not quick / skilled enough to play the third tall. tomlinson, stewart would suit our needs okay, i think, and i would love it if we could prise kelly free from them. patton is absolutely best 22, but if the bombers want to give up their likely top 2-3 pick for him, they'll get him.
-
jetta and tyson are the obvious ins. lumumba, dawes, dunn, and spencer would be other chances you'd expect.
-
he could certain do it next week opposed to trengove - dixon - westhoff.
-
hey i'd have spencer in ahead of dawes or pedo at this stage, but i get the impression he'll be back in sooner rather than later.
-
watts worked well as the secondary ruckman i thought. pedo won't come in - it'll be dawes in ahead of him as another tall forward option you'd expect.
-
He's tall and relatively mobile and doesn't give up and drop his bundle. We need new generation coming thru and he's part of it.

Turning into a rubbish game of football and we are playing into their hands.

We are lairising big time
-
Freeman is slaughtering Tommy Mac. He's completely lost his ability to compete in the air.
-
We should be miles in front. Need to keep scoring pressure high as when they do get some to run and carry they have the players to do so, if not necessarily deliver it. Petracca's kicking needs refinement but the kid is highly exciting.
-
been pretty confident all week we'll get the win. now as game day here the nerves have officially kicked in!
-
can the cats come again?
-
howe remains a natural defender. he's essentially sacrificed a bucketload of cash to play with his favourite team in his least favourite, but seemingly natural, position. pies are looking up and about. queen's birthday could be a super tough match-up as they seem to have hit form as the season has progressed.
-
Hurley will stay - Connors is just trying to secure him a longer and higher $ contract without suing.
-
i tend to agree. weitering is a classy, classy player - but he really does remind of rivers, possibly a 'better version' thereof.

That's three weeks out with concussion now for H? I don't even remember seeing him cop a head knock.
