  1. both meth coke and the jokers will offer hogan a mega-sized contract no matter what we do what's interesting is that, at this stage, he WON'T be a free agent at the next contract negotiation of course, it's not within the realms of possibilities that the afl will arbitrarily declare that his pre-listing year on our list counts, or that 6 years is the new free agency marker, or what have you make hay while the sun shines with hogan; the story is gonna be there every year that one of the wa sides is into him in a big, big way cos he's a mega-sized talent
  2. we can keep both macs, brayshaw, give vince another year AND get gaff we're very well structured financially from a salary cap perspective (allegedly)
  3. He’s a good player but so far is being talked up and hasn’t done much Was pick 5 the same year as Trac, Brayshaw, and Lever - I’d still take all of them over him
  4. Going inside mid has completely changed his game He looked lost playing as a flanker and I was seriously questioning his role in the side Well it’s clearly an inside mid ball-hunting beast Now it’ll be interesting to see how he’s valued by our club and others
  5. both shiel and martin are in contract and we don't have the assets to trade for either of them shiel will be a free agent at the conclusion of his next contract, as may be martin better to wait til then
  6. Gaff? Yes please
  7. Dude on a facebook group I frequent says that they taught young Kobe and he’s a massive Dockers fan...
  8. very happy to see gus have a great game last week after a second week in the guts i had massive doubts on his role in the team as a half back / half forward, but his work in the square was great however, for mine he is a long way behind petracca in terms of being a quality top level afl player this was his best game by a mile, but let's see him do it regularly
  9. Would love him at the Dees Has been playing more as an inside mid at meth coke this year, but I would love to see him burning up the wings at the MCG in the red and blue
  10. His best game for the club Still a titch fumbly at times when the pressure was on early, but he settled nicely and it was brilliant to see him not just up-and-under kicking it regularly Keep going Gus
  11. meth coke in 05 - unrecognisable from the team the year before
  12. i still don't rate him but his third quarter was what i expect of him unfortunately the other three quarters were diabolical he's no better than toumpas with his skills, and he's slower than trengove whatever we get for him at the end of the year will be a win
  13. The issue is they planned for him to be in the box in 2018 It’s lasted four weeks So either the plan hasn’t worked and they’re reverting to 2017 set up or the communication inside the box with him as part of it has been problematic Either result is not great imo
  14. Brayshaw not Hogan, obviously Pretty sure that Hogan will be a free agent at the end of 2019, which is a bit scary
  15. If we can get a first round pick for Brayshaw I couldn’t sign the paperwork fast enough Just don’t rate him
  16. at one stage he was so highly rated as a youngster, so fingers crossed his ceiling is high and he gets there and then smashes thru it like it's a coburg player
  17. magic beans? wines is going nowhere - will be their next skipper i fully expect we may target a free agent - gaff, dahlhaus, lynch (unlikely unless we lose hogan), etc. - as vince is ooc and we need to keep bringing talent in in order to get better
  18. magic beans? wines is going nowhere - will be their next skipper i fully expect we may target a free agent - gaff, dahlhaus, lynch (unlikely unless we lose hogan), etc. - as vince is ooc and we need to keep bringing talent in in order to get better
  19. pre-emptive move - all clubs are preparing for the afl stopping clubs owning pokies licenses, whilst at the same time taking in excess of $10m from crownbet to be official wagering partner, plus all the residuals from the other gambling companies the afl hypocritical? well, i never...
  20. gawn was recovering from a knee injury and built like a twig when he joined us
  21. this i also think it has to be factored in that he and curnow are very different sorts of players for us, hogan plays the curnow role weideman will ideally be able to pinch hit in the ruck as well as be a tall marking option it would be fab to have curnow, but it'd also be fab to have martin, fyfe, sloane etc. etc - we have to work with what we've got not worry about what we didn't i'm still convinced weid will be a very good player for us
  22. slower than blease, faster than trengove!
  23. I personally think we’re going to need him to play default chf if t mac is missing
  24. My kids all had Dees pjs They had Schwab’s logo all over them at weird angles everywhere
