  2. i think the pressure will come to bear on the whole football dept next season - off-field crew are keeping up their end of the bargain, now it's up to football side to get themselves together so many wanted mahoney appointed as ceo; i'm glad it didn't happen but we still have a lot of concerns with our football dept and i find it staggering that he is the one conducting the review into them
  3. yep, it's almost at the point based on his output in a pretty poor dockers side that our second round pick for him would be good value

  7. one instance from over 20 years ago; that's gotta be sydney with qbe, i presume? i worked at a club where a sponsor was brought in by the media department these are the exceptions, not the rule the likes of media and marketing depts have little to do with corporate negotiations as rule

  14. it's why, ideally, he's not in our best 22 he's got better this year, no doubt, but he's still a very average (at best) footballer
  15. did he turn it straight over in the corridor with the free kick?
  16. Baker one was fantastic
  17. Perfect replacement for Coniglio for them tho If we end up with pick 3, gw$ might want to trade with us so that they can secure a high end young talent as well as Greene Forget the likes of Kelly, Cameron, Greene of the Toby variety or Taranto and the like, but who else could we prize free I wonder... Whitfield for pick 3?
  18. Fourth round pick Constantly injured
  19. who said we want to win?
  20. they should have been up a lot sooner than they were fortunately, draft picks (three #1 in a row a decade ago, another several since) and high-priced recruits (judd, daisy) aren't the panacea wait, oh my god, THAT'S US TOO i hate football
  21. players not to suit up in afl in 2019 (so far): bedford vandenberg (injured all year) jordon nietschke (injured all year) joel smith (injured all year) maynard (rookie) walker (cat b rookie, injured all year) bradtke (cat b rookie) avb and j smith obviously played in preseason just extraordinary how low we're scraping that barrel
