i'm another who believes that in the less than 20 minutes of evidence smith is in our starting 18, let alone our best 22. looked good in the air, composed with the ball, and strong in the contest. a lot to like. based on saturday you can't possibly argue that you don't want vince manning up on the oppo's key mid. (straight to ziebell next week.) i loves jones coming in off the square against the crows and i think that outside / inside role suits him perfectly and lewis is the same. i'd say bugg is offering a lot at the moment, and there's just that certain 'something' about hannan that's really exciting when he gets the ball - he's creative, and very quick. no melksham, no brayshaw, no weideman, no vandenberg - all who i had in my 'hopeful they'll gel and be awesome starting 22' before the season commenced. B: Jetta - Frost - Smith HB: Hunt - T. McDonald - Hibberd C: Salem - Vince - Jones HF: Petracca - Watts - Lewis F: Pedersen - Hogan - Garlett Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Viney I/C: Tyson - Kent - Hannan - Bugg Emerg: Stretch - O. McDonald - Neal-Bullen

So they're giving him at least a week off, apparently? -

i didn't think there was anything in the bump - two players attacking the ball. -

it's very sad. such high expectations based on his first year, but his career thus far has just been ruined by concussions, which would have to have some impact on his decision making. i really hope yr right, dig. definitely worth emailing the club re this idea. -
Hogan in for Weed makes sense as outstanding as his tackling was. Only other change you can really see happening is if Hunt is out for a week recovering from concussion, and then it will be determined in terms of who is fit and firing at Casey today as to who comes in. I personally have an expectation that he'll get a week's rest. Would send Bernie straight to Ziebell next week.

First to 100 wins!! This has been an unbelievable two and a bit quarters. We only went to sleep for 15 minutes this game! And look at us - beating the premiership favourites Adelaide IN Adelaide!!

Trac is just so strong

Ugh

Panicking across half-back and turning it over every time.
-
would take serious coin to get him to wander down swan road to our joint. he would definitely add some cream, but we'd be giving something good up to get him, no doubt.
-
apart from the fact that we're not getting the wins, playing inconsistent football, and generally go to 'sleep' for one quarter a game, me either. huge test tonight.
-
such an even competition at the moment. good to watch.
-
the jacket-waver spectacular, of course
-
i wonder what took so long. good news tho. well done mfc
-
entertaining game. two finals teams, no doubt
-
disagree - boyd is better at ground level, better in the ruck, better up forward, competes way harder, and is significantly younger...and only double the salary. really, they're both young, not as good versions of cam pedersen
-
marcus adams reminds me so much of chris dawes, both in looks and style of play when he's up forward for the dogs - just an honest, bullocking, hard-working big forward

fitz > vickery

just balances out those saying what a star he looked to be in 2015

i thought joel smith was very locked in as a rebounding defender? i agree, sadly, re gus. i'm not entirely sure the concussion and the poor ball use are unrelated either.
